(next day, Sunday morning)

Tsukishima woke up first. He silently exited his room with a change of clothes and went to the bathroom. After brushing his teeth and showering, he figured he would make breakfast. After all, his mother contacted him saying she and his father be out for a week more on business so they wouldn't be home to make anything.

Tsukki wasn't particularly good at cooking as he usually just ate a few light snacks throughout the day instead of big meals. Even without much experience in making food, he tried his best to make miso soup, something simple. Hinata would be waking up soon and would likely be hungry.

Hinata

I woke up feeling...well rested. I haven't felt this way for months. This was the first time, in a long time, that I've been able to go to sleep without my father around to hurt me.

Hinata got up quickly, enjoying the feeling of not being drowsy. He noticed Tsukishima was already out of bed so he quickly showered and got ready. Exiting the bathroom, he had smelled something really good and quickly made his way to the kitchen where he found Tsukki setting a bowl of soup on the table "Here. Breakfast. I'm not all that good with cooking so don't expect too much of it." Hinata sat down immediately and began eating "Wahhh! This is really good, Tsukishima! Thank you!" Tsukishima thought for a moment 'it's nothing special, just soup. Soup. Whatever, as long as he's satisfied.'

Finishing his food, Hinata questioned "Are we going to do anything today? Are we going to practice volleyball?" Tsukishima typically spent his weekends in his room listening to music, watching tv or doing whatever to pass the time "Do you seriously practice that much? I knew you had a serious obsession with volleyball but damn, you don't even take rest days. Anyway, you should just relax today and stay home, no reason to go out when you need to allow your body to heal. I've seen you limp here and there so don't lie and say your fine, I know your leg is still hurting."

Hinata didn't really know how to respond, Tsukki was spot-on. It was a bit weird how he took notice of such small details. Hinata himself hadn't really noticed anything wrong with his leg anymore until Tsukishima just now mentioned it "Well..I've gotta practice as much as I can to get better so I always spend my weekends on volleyball. But hey, we can do something that doesn't involve a lot of running and moving! Then my leg won't be a problem!"

Tsukishima thought it over. He knew it wouldn't even be possible to keep Hinata in one place for the day with the amount of energy he had "Fine. We're not doing anything that involves being in a loud setting."

"Yes! Alright, well, do you have any ideas Tsukishima? I can't think of any quiet places to go, I'm usually around a lot of other people." Hinata spoke in an excited tone, ready for a day of...what he hoped would be fun since Tsukki isn't the type to have much "fun".

Tsukishima thought for a bit, trying to think of somewhere calming that could also tire out some of the tangerines energy. "I've got one idea, but don't think about asking what it is. I'll drive us there and you can see for yourself." Getting up, confused, Hinata questioned "Wha- why? I wanna know! And hey, how are you going to be able to drive? Don't you get your license at 16?" Tsukki sighed heavily "Listen shrimp. You'll see what it is when we get there and I have my permit for now. Quit with all the questions."  Hinata huffed "hmph fine, but let's go! I wanna see where you'll take me! Come on!" He began walking towards the front door looking back expectedly at Tsukishima.

The two went out and made their way to the car. Tsukishima got in first, then Hinata in the front passenger seat. "Are you good at driving Tsukki? Don't crash" Hinata said with a giggle throughout his words. "Shut up. I can drive perfectly fine. And don't call me that."
