The team was doing blocking drills. And as for Hinata, well, he was barely jumping a foot off the ground. His body felt heavy and his legs were beginning to feel numb. His head ached every time he landed, causing an increase in throbbing pain. He honestly felt like he could pass out."Oi, boke! What the hell is with you today?!" Kageyama yelled after observing Hinata for a few minutes. Hinata struggled to keep his eyes fully open and turned in his direction, trying his best to put on a face that didn't look like he was hungover. "Sorry, I was.." he stopped himself from giving the same excuse he gave Daichi. After all, he told Kageyama about everything, so why start lying?
He slowly walked over to Kageyama and just walked into him, pressing his head against the setters chest. He could barely stand. "W-what are you doing? Everyone can see you!" Kageyama tried to whisper, only resulting in their teammates looking to see what was going on. "Kags..." Hinata said tiredly before allowing all of his weight to fall into Kageyama. He fell asleep. Luckily, Kageyama was able to catch and hold him up before he fell. He stood there holding the small boy awkwardly with a light blush.
Tsukishima rolled his eyes and got back to practice. He was still worried about Hinata, though. It was his first time even touching alcohol and here he was at practice, but tsukki told him to stay home and he didn't listen. It was his own fault.
Yamaguchi silently observed both tsukishima and Hinata. He felt like he was getting to see a different side of each boy.
Kageyama picked Hinata up, the smaller boys legs wrapped around him and his arms around his neck, and awkwardly made his way to Daichi. "U-uhm what should I.." Kageyama started. Daichi stared for a moment, before calling over suga. "I don't know what to do with them anymore, please, handle this." Suga chuckled as he crossed paths with Daichi, observing Hinata and Kageyama. "I see someone's pretty tired, huh? Do you know what's wrong with him?"
Kageyama shook his head "I'm not sure, but I got an odd text from him really late last night." Sugawara perked his head up and asked "What did it say, and how late?"
"It just said goodnight but it was spelt completely wrong. And I guess I'd say a little past 2 in the morning.." Kageyama said, secretly enjoying the body of his spiker pressed against his own. He just wanted to lay down and cuddle. "That's odd, and he hasn't told you anything? I'd imagine he did something last night to be like this." Kageyama shook his head once more at suga "No, he was about to say something when I asked but...he kinda fell asleep.." he said with a blush as he looked down into Hinata's messy, orange hair. Sugawara smirked to himself, seeing right through Kageyama. "Why don't you take him outside for some fresh air, I'm sure it'll wake him up a bit." he smiled warmly. "Alright...I'll be quick." Kageyama said as he began walking towards the gym doors.
Once outside, Kageyama looked around to make sure no one could see them or was looking at them.
He sat against the outside wall of the gym and set Hinata in his lap, stroking his hair. He knew something was up with him and wanted to do his best as Hinata's friend and teammate. And possible boyfriend.
'Wait...he's staying at tsukishimas right now...' His heart started to speed up with anger as he thought about what could have happened the previous night. Did tsukishima do something to Hinata? That's all he could think about as he sat there, thinking of endless possibilities that could have happened.
Hinata shifted slightly, breaking Kageyama from his thoughts, and wrapped his arms around the setters waist. Kageyama blushed when he realized Hinata was still asleep. He pulled him closer and rested his chin in hinatas soft, orange hair. He wanted to stay like that forever. Holding his favorite person in his arms, never letting go.
