"So, why don't you just date him already, huh?" Kageyama asked with half a piece of bread stuck in mouth. Tsukishima tossed his phone aside and sat up "I told you, we're friends." Kageyama only kept going "Friends with promise rings."This caused Yamaguchi to freeze for a moment. He thought tsukishima had forgotten about it. They got them back in middle school and never wore them in public so he was starting to forget, himself. It was only when he realized he had been holding his breath that he started listening again.
"I told you, we got them since we'd been friends for a while. Nothing more to it. Why are you so interested in my dating life anyway?" Tsukishima spoke with annoyance.
Kageyama rested his hands behind his head and sat back "It's not that I'm interested in your dating life in particular, I just hate to see such potential go to waste. You know, if Hinata were here, he would be saying the same thing. I bet you he thinks you two should date."
Tsukishima remembered how Hinata brought up the topic of him and yams and shivered. He hated his personal matters being found out so easily "Knowing Hinata, I'm sure he does. But that doesn't change the fact that Yamaguchi and I are friends."
"And how do you think Yamaguchi feels?" Kageyama asked.
Tsukishima raised a brow "What do you mean? I'm sure he'd agree with me."
"Let's be honest, there's something between you two but you're just too much of a pussy to admit it, so Yamaguchi has probably been waiting for you to make a move for years.." Kageyama spoke like a mother explaining something to a child, which only made tsukishima more irritated "..anyway, it's your loss. You'll just be wasting the next three years avoiding your feelings and things will be complicated once you graduate.." Kageyama said while standing and stretching his arms "Wasn't Yamaguchi supposed to text you when they were on their way?"
Tsukishima stood up as well, truly hoping Kageyama would drop the subject after this "Yeah...he never did. I guess they could still be practicing but that seems like a long time, even for practice."

Hinata and Yamaguchi stood there speechless. The most surprising thing was Kageyama having a decent argument. His words seemed more well thought out than usual.
Hinata tugged at the back of yams shirt "Come on.." he whispered, signaling for the taller boy to follow him. He did as requested and followed Hinata back to the window. "What're you doing?" he questioned. Hinata hopped out the window with no words only leaving Yamaguchi to follow behind him.
Once outside, Yamaguchi spoke "What's wrong? Why did you want to come back out?" Hinata had a serious expression for about three second max until his face fell into a grin-like smirk "Kageyama made some good points, didn't he?"
"W-well, sorta...but I don't know. Tsukishima didn't even show any interest in dating me.." Yamaguchi felt a bit down at the thought of tsukishima not taking an interest in dating him.
Hinata grabbed Yamaguchi by the hand and dragged him to the front of the house. He knew exactly how to settle things, and this would also give him some alone time with his boyfriend. "I've got an idea, just follow along."
Yamaguchi hesitantly nodded and stood back, allowing Hinata to ring the doorbell. After just a few seconds, the door opened to both a blonde and raven haired boy. Hinata gave a bright smile and hugged Kageyama, pulling him out of the house afterwards. He then stood behind Yamaguchi "Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, you both need to realize that you like each other. Kageyama and I are going to go out for the night, so we'll leave you to talk it over. Bye bye~"
Everyone seemed generally confused, except for Yamaguchi who had a bright red face and couldn't get a single word out "Come in yams, it's cold. I guess...I'll see you two later." Tsukishima said, opening the door wider.
