Kageyama breathed deeply and considered tsukishimas words. Was he scared? Or just desperately anxious to find the one he loved. All he wanted was for hinata to be in his arms, free of harm.

He shook off tsukishimas question and reluctantly made his way towards kenma. While he wasn't too fond of him, Kageyama needed to see the tracker.

"How far in is he?" Kageyama questioned. Kenma stared up with a death glare and opened up his laptop to show that they were about a mile away.

"Let's go! We've sat here long enough." Kageyama yelled, not to anyone in particular but to the whole group. He turned around and kept his eyes trained on the forest, as if he would miss something important if he looked away.

"Everything will turn out okay..." Kageyama felt a hand on his shoulder. "Suga? How do you know?" Sugawara took a step closer to the taller boy and sighed. "Even if he is hurt, I know it'll be okay. I've just got a feeling, trust me." He said with a reassuring and warm smile.

Kageyama let his head hang low. "What if his father somehow got to him? I've never met him and I don't know exactly how far he'd go. For all I know Hinata is-"

Gentle hands now cupped his cheeks. "Don't go making assumptions. We'll find Hinata and he will be okay."

Kageyama felt his eyes swell up but forced his tears back "But what if he's hurt?"

Suga let go of his face and remained with the same warm smile. "Then we take him to the hospital. That simple."

Kageyama shoved his hands in his pockets and nodded, lifting his head slightly. "We need to start looking."

Without words in return, Sugawara turned around and announced "Everyone follow kenma, kuroo, and Kageyama. If you see something, say something. Our goal is to find Hinata and once we do that, we're getting the hell out of here with our friend."

A few shouts and words of encouragement were thrown around, making Kageyama feel a little better knowing that if something really did happen to Hinata, there was a large group of people prepared to do whatever it took to make him better.

The group entered the forest, cutting through multiple clearings of trees. The air and atmosphere were much cooler there than back at home, making everyone shiver.

Lost in thought, Kageyama was surprised to hear someone now behind him. "Kageyama, I don't want to ask too many questions, seeing that the situation is already tense but...what exactly is going on here? Sure, it's weird for Hinata to be in the forest, but why do we need the entire team to look for him? Don't get me wrong though, I'd come to look for shoyo anytime."

Without turning around to face the older, Kageyama tried his best to simply explain.

Nishinoya hummed in response "Well, in any case, don't blame yourself. Shoyo is strong and I think you made the right choice letting him go on his own. This is just how things played out. It's not anyone's fault and it's not like anyone's going to start treating him like a caged-in child after we find him."

Kageyama took in his surroundings once more before replying. "Thank you, noya-san. I guess that makes me feel a little better."

He earned a pat on the back. "Don't be so down! We'll definitely find him, and when we do, you can take care of him all you want."

"Yeah...You're right. Thank you again."

Minutes later, and kenma took an abrupt stop. "Kenma..? What's wrong?" Kuroo asked. Kenma looked up from his laptop and studied his surroundings. "It says shoyo should be just about here..."
