19| reason of my happiness

The two were now at Jimin's house after having a beautiful time together in the park. They wanted to talk freely with each other without worrying of anyone recognizing them so they thought Jimin's house was the best place for that. The duo was feeling hungry so here was Jungkook in the kitchen making his favorite ramyeon for both of them while Jimin went to his room to get changed into some comfortable clothes.

Jungkook was feeling like he was at cloud nine or something. The thing he had always wished for, finally came true. Jimin was his boyfriend now. And how much he thinks of it, more happy he gets. His eyes lit up when he saw Jimin coming downstairs and he couldn't help but drool at the sight. Jimin was wearing grey shorts with a plain white tee. He couldn't understand how can someone look so ethereal in such simple clothes.

"Jungkook!"

"Jeon?!" Jimin yelled out as he was standing in front of Jungkook across the counter of the open kitchen.

"What?" Jungkook asked finally getting out his trance.

"I called you so many times. I am asking, Is the food ready? I am feeling hungry." Jimin said as he eyed the ramyeon on the stove.

"Yeah! It's almost done." Jungkook said as Jimin nodded.

They took a seat on the dinning table across each other as Jungkook placed two bowls of ramyeon along with a plate of kimchi on the table as he passed one bowl to Jimin.

"Thanks." Jimin says smiling at Jungkook as he digged in his food.

Jungkook took a bite of his own food before eyeing Jimin again. He just couldn't help but stare at the older. He was just perfect in Jungkook's eyes. Jimin blushed a little when he noticed Jungkook's stare on him.

"Are you gonna keep staring at me like that? Your food is gonna get cold." Jimin said as he chuckled at the younger.

Jungkook face turned red in embarrassment as he immediately looked down at his ramyeon and started eating, not saying anything back to Jimin. The two went silent for a while, eating their own food, taking glances at each other in between.

"Jimin.." Jungkook says looking at the latter. Jimin hummed in response, as he took an another bite.

"You live here alone. Right? Where is your family?" He asked as the question was lingering in his mind for a while now. Jimin looked up at him at this.

"Why are you asking?" Jimin asked, not expecting the sudden question.

"Just want to know you better. Shouldn't I know about the people who have so much importance in my boyfriend's life?" Jungkook said as Jimin chuckled. He liked it when Jungkook always used the word 'Boyfriend' like Jimin was gonna forget it if he didn't remind him.

"My family is in Seoul." Jimin replied.

"Seoul? So, Why are you here alone?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Why? You don't want me here?" Jimin asked.

"No! I just.. I didn't mean it like that." Jungkook said and Jimin chuckled, humming in response.

"My family shifted to Seoul just the previous year. My dad got a promotion to Seoul so they live there now. But I had already got this job as an English teacher at your school and I had already signed the contract for one year so I couldn't go." Jimin explained.

"For one year? It means you are here just for this one session. Then you have to go to Seoul?" Jungkook asked, surprised.

"Yeah! But don't worry, I am not gonna leave you." Jimin said and Jungkook chuckled.
