Chapter 7: Impressive

              They all walked in and sat down. I walked over and sat down next to them after I was finished helping Midas. He started speaking about who was going to train with who and he basically explained to me that training for today was just fighting against each other just to see how good I was.
            I felt like they didn't think I was good at all. First I was up against Maya. We both stood up and faced each other. I smiled and prepared to show them how good I was.
           As soon as Midas said go, Maya started to throw hands and I blocked everything. I ended up punching her first and we kept fighting back and forth.
✨........................ Not too long later.....................✨
           Maya fell to the floor and gave up. I smiled as I saw everyone's face. Including Midas. Their mouths were hanging open and staring at me. Midas slowly and quietly clapped his hands. "Good job l/n" he said as he came closer to me.
          "Y'all just gonna ignore the fact that I'm on the floor" Maya said. I laughed and helped her up. Time passed and I went up against all the girls. I won all of those fights but I was worried for the day I had to fight against the everyone else.
           We started walking outside to practice throwing knives or practice shooting. "Agent l/n" Midas said as he got closer to me. "Oh, Hi" I said. "You did a really good job today for training". I smiled. "Thanks" I said happily. "Anyways here is your gun to train with" he said handing me a pump shotgun. I took it and nodded. He walked off. "Hi y/n!" Skye said putting her arms around me and scaring me. "Jeez Skye. Where did you come from" I said looking behind me as she grabbed my arm to take me to the knife place. Maya had a knife in her hand and threw it at the target. "Ever threw a knife before" she said while smiling and handing me one.
           I've thrown knives many times. To protect myself or sometimes just to train. Fighting for my life when I was with shadow really helped me prepare for training now.
           I picked up the knife and threw it. It landed directly in the middle. "Woah" Tntina said looking at the knife. Everyone here seemed to be so impressed with what I do while training. Aren't they all better than me?

Midas Perspective:

"Impressive"I say under my breath as I watched y/n get the knife in the middle on her first try.
I watched her some more and every time she shot the target or threw the knife she would get it on her first try. "She doesn't even look impressed by her skill" I say out loud accidentally. "Who doesn't look impressed" Meowsclues says sitting next to me. "Y/n, she is getting everything on her first try". "I mean yea. She's really good. Also why would you be impressed with your own skill" meowsclues said questioning me. I didn't say anything. But I guess expected her to be surprised that she was doing good.
I walked up to my office to organize it a bit and waited for everyone to come upstairs. Meowsclues walked in. "Meowsclues" I said as soon as he closed the door. "Yes boss?" "Tell Agent l/n that I want to talk to her". He nodded and left. I wanted to ask her where did she learn how to throw knives or shoot the target perfectly each time. No agent that's just started out was that good.
