All for Revenge (Midas x Reader)

Chapter 21: The Past

We took her to the place where The Agency keeps all the people that they interrogate. It was basically a long hallway filled with rooms that were the size of a closet. And all of this was underground.  All the way at the end of the hallway, there was a office where the interrogations take place. Midas let go of her as she sat down at the table. He sat across from her and I sat in the corner. 

"So Astra," Midas started as he stared at his hands on the table. "Simply tell me what you know." 

She hesitated for a bit and didn't say anything. Midas looked up at stared straight into her eyes. I just shuffled in the small chair in the corner, nervous for what she was going to say. She was gonna bring up my mom and Chaos. And eventually even me. I wasn't ready for that at all. I still didn't really understand why Midas cared so much and what exactly what he was trying to figure out. None of this made sense to me.

"Chaos does everything out of jealousy," Astra finally said with no emotion on her face. She stares right back at Midas and they keep eye contact for a while. "That man is jealous of everything and anyone. But I don't blame him. I mean wouldn't you also be if you were in his shoes?" she continued. Midas stayed silent and she took that as a sign to continue talking. 

"When he first started Shadow, he did it simply so that you wouldn't get powerful but it was way too late for that." She then looked at me. I knew exactly what was coming up next. 

"And then he fell in love with Ms. Ghost herself. And that idiot somehow managed to get her pregnant. It was such a bad idea to even date her in he first place. But adding a child to the mix wasn't gonna work," she said as she stared at me. I wasn't like Midas though so I looked away.  

"Go on," Midas said as he glanced back at me. She nodded and continued. 

"Well I think I know you know what happens next. Y/n comes along, they both realize sooner or later that this isn't gonna work, Chaos gets mad and takes Y/n, and after a big fight of disagreement, Chaos kills Nightlife." She takes a deep breath and looks back at Midas. 

"Then I come in."

Midas looks at her confusedly. I was also very confused. I lifted my finger as an indication that I wanted to say something but Midas shook his head. "What do you mean that you "come in"," he says, somehow reading my mind. 

"Well after all that Nightlife drama, he hires me and after a quick run through of my files and stuff I was apparently the "perfect spy" for him. And then well..... I agreed to date him."

"What?!" I said, completely lost. Midas looked back at me with a annoyed look as I completely forgot I wasn't supposed to say anything. He then looks back at her with a similar annoyed look like before. Neither of us had any idea that they were dating and judging by the look of her face, she wasn't proud of it. I mean who would be? 

"Yeah. He had asked me and well being power hungry and not really wanting to get into a fight, I just said yes. But that's about all. In the end, he wants this place destroyed." "And he wants you dead," she says, staring at Midas.

"Well at least the feeling is neutral," he says. "But we are gonna need to continue to keep you here. Just incase he tries to pull anything, we'll have you."

"And what makes you think I'm going to help you?" she asks as Midas gets up out of his chair and walks over to her. 

"Not only do you not have a choice, I'll just threaten to hurt you if he does something. Simple." Midas takes the handcuffs off the chair and holds her arms together as he cuffs her hands. He then motions with his head for me to follow him. 

As we walk out of the room, he closes the door and pulls out his keys to open one of the rooms in the hallway. The door was labeled with a two and the inside was cold and pretty small. There was a bed and a desk on opposite sides of the room. There was also a window on the door so Midas could see what she was up to without opening the door. He closed the door and Astra sat on the bed.

"What now?" I ask him. Surely his only plan was to just keep her in there. "We go to bed. Its very late," he says as he starts to walk to the staircase while looking at his watch. I will never understand this man.

HELLOOO PEOPLE. I'm going to be so honest.....I forgot about this story. And I was bored so I was like why not continue. So here you go! I may or may not post more in the future (hopefully I do) and I may or may not write another story that will have absolutely nothing to do with fortnite. Also if there are any spelling mistakes, sorry for that and well if I should write another story tell me! Anyways, enjoy and bye!
