Chapter 18: Astra Universe

I wasn't surprised that Midas was always in his office after the fight. After a while though, I realized he wasn't going after Chaos anymore. He was going for the people who worked for Chaos. I peeked into his office to see him all the way across the room at his desk. In complete darkness. "Midas how can you even see in here" I said as I turned on the lights. "It's not even that dark, I can see perfectly fine". He looked up at me while he was talking and he looked kinda tired and overworked. "I think you should take a break from working. Even for a little bit". I walked over to him as I spoke and I closed his computer. "Come on, we are going for a walk". He rolled his eyes at me. "Do I have to go". "I said we didn't I?". I smiled at him as he gave me an annoyed look and I left his office and waited for him at the front door.
      Around 10 minutes later, Midas finally showed up. "It's about time you get here" I said somewhat annoyed tone. "Be lucky I'm even here. I didn't wanna go" he replied as he opened the door. I knew Midas was annoyed at me for interrupting his time in his office, but he needed to leave that office. Even if it was for a few minutes.
       Midas kept his head down the whole time and I looked around at the trees and the beautiful water surrounding the agency. We only went outside for like 5 minutes and when we went back Midas went to his office. As I expected.

Midas's Perspective:

I went back to my office when all of a sudden I had a thought. Every single time we saw Chaos there was a girl with him too. And I think I knew exactly who she was. I looked for the correct file and opened it. Astra Universe. The person that was right under Chaos Agent. Otherwise known as his assistant.
She was around the same age as me and was apart of shadow her whole life. But that was all I knew about her. She never seemed trapped so I wondered, why would she wanna work for shadow. I wanted to know more and the only way I was gonna be able to do that was to capture her. 
       I told Meowsclues to bring Y/n into my office and not even 5 minutes later they both came in. She smiled at Meowsclues as he left.  "You needed me?" Y/n said. "Y/n, you and me are gonna go see if we can find Astra and bring her here. I wanna talk to her to see what she knows about shadow and why she is working for chaos". Y/n's eyes widened. I knew that she knew who Astra was and also having to look for her meant that we had to go to the grotto. "I promise, nothing bad will happen" I said as I walked over to her. "Fine. When do we leave?" She said. "Tomorrow morning. So make sure you get a good amount of sleep". She nodded her head after I finished speaking and then walked out. I went to our room and started to go to sleep. I knew we had a long day ahead of us tomorrow.
