Yukishiro rushed out with a confused Quinn, Silas, Azlan and Professor Harrow.
"Oh! Good, guys we have some-", started Silas.

"-No. It's Bennett's turn", said Yukishiro.

Their eyes widened when they saw Maya.
"Maya, you're here", said Quinn.

Maya looked down, still feeling a little embarrassed.
"Bennett has something he wants to say."

Quinn rolled her eyes.
"Always dram-"

"-Quinn!", exclaimed Yukishiro.

Bennett sighed. He wanted to crawl up in a ball and never move. But this was happening. This had to happen.

It was the only way for him to heal.

"Remember when I didn't come to school for a month?", asked Bennett.

Azlan nodded.
"Yeah. Then you came back as this different guy."

Bennett nodded.
"Well... I was k*dnappèd."

"Shut up", said Quinn. Her eyes lingered on the pained expression on his face. Her face fell.
"You're not lying, are you?"

Bennett shook his head.

"Oh my God", gasped Professor Harrow.
"Why didn't you tell the school? Have they found-"

"-The school knows. The neighbours called and reported the guy. The police came the same day. We regularly make dinner with that family. It's my parents way of thanking them."

An uncomfortable silence washed over them. Without saying another word, Yukishiro knelt beside him. "May I hug you?"

Every part of his brain was telling him to say no, but he found himself nodding. Yukishiro wrapped his arms around Bennett. Bennett melted against his touch.

Maya placed a hand on his shoulder, tears brimming in her eyes.

Azlan joined the hug, gently rubbing his back. Silas placed his hand on Bennett's other shoulder.

"I'm so sorry you didn't feel like you could tell me, Bennett", said Professor Harrow.

Bennett shook his head.
"It's not your fault, Sir."

"Did... did you do anything to harm you? Physically?", asked Professor Harrow.

Bennett felt a lump form in his throat. Unable to speak, he just nodded and pointed to his eye patch.

Quinn's eyes widened.
"F*ck. Bennett, I'm sorry about the j-"

"-Don't be", interrupted Bennett.
"Your jokes actually made me feel like it had a purpose. In a weird way."

He noticed the pained expression on Quinn's face and quickly smirked. "Hey, I needed to give you something to make fun of, right? Your insults are weak."

Quinn laughed.
"Lying sh*t."

Bennett looked around at his supporters. At people who he wouldn't have called friends.
