Chapter 46- Club Disbanded (Part 1)

"Let me get this straight.
Everett got someone to knock Professor Duran out with gas and then they smeared animal blood all over her?", questioned Silas.

Professor Harrow just nodded.
His whole body vibrated with anger, but he wasn't going to take it out on the students.

"But she's going to be ok, isn't she?", asked Azlan.

Professor Harrow nodded.
"There's no lasting damage at all. She's going to be discharged soon. She's really shaken up though."

Silas looked at the house that stood before them.
The seemingly ordinary house that held a thousand secrets.

"Thanks for getting changed so quickly", said Professor Harrow. "Look, I don't want any of you playing the Hero, ok?
Let me handle the risks, ok?"

Everyone nodded, though they were reluctant to do so. Yukishiro clasped his hands together, a frown appearing on his face.
"Professor H, I'm... I'm scared."

Professor Harrow's face softened. "You don't have to come inside.
In fact, I think it'd be best if you all went back to your Prom."

"What about you?", asked Quinn.

"He hurt Lena.
It's personal."

"He's taken Katie.
Twice.
It's personal for us too", said Silas, stepping forward.

Quinn stepped forward too, and the pair locked eyes.
They nodded at each other, and in that one gesture, they said everything they needed to.

"I'm in too deep now", said Bennett. He stepped forward.

"Katie must be so scared.
We can't leave her", said Azlan,
before joining the others.

"No person left behind", said Maya. Azlan smiled at her when she stepped forward.

All eyes were on Yukishiro.

"You don't have to-", started Professor Harrow.

"-If this club has taught me anything, it's that we don't give up on each other."

Bennett smiled as Yukishiro stepped forward.

"Let's go kick Moonshine's butt", said Bennett.

One by one, they made their way into Everett's house.
All except Quinn.
"You guys go ahead.
I'm going to look around for weapons."

"Quinn-", started Maya.

"-I'll be fine!
We can't fight him with our bare fists."

"She's got a point", said Bennett.

"Be careful", said Professor Harrow.

Quinn nodded, and her eyes met with Azlan's sad eyes.
Unable to see her upset, Quinn gave her a big smile.
"Cheer up, you can have my clothes if something happens to me!"

Azlan laughed.

Bennett frowned.
"You better hope she survives then because that look is awful."
