Silas' heart dropped to the ground and his soul bolted out of his body when he saw Mr. Phillip Everett standing by the door.

"What on Earth do you think you're doing in my Office?", he bellowed, his face red with rage.

"I sent him in here!", exclaimed Professor Harrow. His breathing was laboured, indicating he ran very fast.

"Why did you do that?", asked Phillip.

"I... I thought I left some paperwork in here when we had our meeting", he lied.

"So you asked your student to break in to my Office?", questioned an irritate Phillip.

Ben nodded, his eyes shining with fear. He grabbed his hand with his free one to stop it from shaking.

Phillip squinted his eyes at Silas, and he could've sworn he saw steam coming out of the older man's ears. He quickly turned to face Professor Harrow.
"You are on thin ice."

Professor Harrow nodded.
"I'm sorry."

Phillip exhaled softly, attempting to regain his composure.
"Get out. Both of you."

Silas and Professor Harrow nodded in unison, before quite literally running out of the room as fast as they could.

Once they were out of ear shot, Silas turned to Professor Harrow.
"Thank you, Sir."

"Never mind that. What were you doing in this Office at this hour?", asked Professor Harrow.

Silas sighed.
"A lot of things have happened.
But if you mean why am I not in bed right now... life at home sucks even more now."

Professor Harrow's face softened.
"I get it.
I had to live up to a big name my whole life.
I saw competitors in people who were just friends. You have friends, Silas. Great ones. Work with them, not against them."

On his way to school, Yukishiro saw Maya by a beautiful tree.
"Maya? Hi!"

Maya jumped at the sound of his voice, but she quickly smiled.
"Hi! I didn't expect to see you here."

"I wanted to take the long way today. You know, to clear my head", said Yukishiro.
"What are you doing here?"

Maya looked back at the tree. She had shared so much with the group. And although they already knew about her Mum, she just wanted something for herself.

She hated that she was being so selfish.

"I was just getting some fresh air", she replied.
"I thought you'd be with Quinn and Azzy?"

Yukishiro shook his head.
"My lesson starts later.
I kind of wish I'd gone early though.
I feel a bit lonely."

"I can walk with you", offered Maya. "If you're ok with that."

Yukishiro's eyes lit up.
"Oh, would you? That'd be great!"

Maya grinned and grabbed her bag. She gently placed a hand on the tree and whispered.
"This is the friend I talked about. You'd love him."
