spider-man / luke hemmings

prologue

   "What do you think you're doing?" 

 Shit. Luke stopped in his tracks. He had climbed onto the balcony that surrounded the first floor of his uni halls quite a few times in order to sneak into his room without being noticed, but he had never been caught before.

 Strictly speaking the students weren't supposed to use the balcony, but then why would they make it that their windows opened wide enough to allow them easy access?

 Luke kept his back to the voice and stayed in the shadows, not wanting to give himself away.  He knew for a fact that the voice belonged to Tamsyn, mainly due to the fact that he now had amazing hearing, but also because he always ended up sitting next to her during lectures.

 "I'm taking a shortcut?" Luke replied, changing the pitch of his voice slightly, he really didn't think he could deal with her finding out his 'little secret'. 

 "Oh really?" responded Tamsyn, "To me it looks like you're trying to break in, maybe I should call the police..."

 "No, no, no, please don't do that!" Luke pleaded. It was then that he turned around, moving towards Tamsyn and out of the shadows.

 She stumbled back. She was clutching her phone, barefoot, while wearing an oversized zip-up hoodie over a short, black dress. It looked as if she had not long come back from a night out. 

 "The police, er, really don't like me at the moment..." Explained Luke as he reached up to scratch the back of his head, offering Tamsyn a half smile, though he doubted she could tell through his mask. 
   

 Tamsyn stared at Luke for a few seconds, looking him up and down before:

 "You-You're Spider-Man."

Hi, so this story is coming real soon, at the moment i'm taking the time to plan this out in full to make it easier to write and hopefully have a good plot. Thanks for reading this prologue :).
