Everywhere I Go (Kings and Queens) - New Politics

---------------------------------------------

Luke was late. Yet again. He had even tried that morning, he had set an alarm for seven and everything, yet here he was at nine thirty, the time his seminar was supposed to start, rushing through Euston station towards the Victoria line.

He wasn't even sure how he managed to be late this morning. he had gotten out of the shower at eight thirty, giving him an hour before he had to be at uni, yet he still fucked it up which was why he was currently swearing like a sailor as he pushed himself into the crowded tube carriage.

At nine forty five Luke panted up to his seminar room, feeling quite pleased with himself as he was only fifteen minutes late. However taped to the door was a sheet of paper with a message that read "Economics and Mathematics - Faulty computer. Room change. Old Building. 3rd Floor. Room 28." in bright red marker pen.

"FUCK!" Luke yelled in the corridor, ignoring the looks he got from passing students as he tugged on the ends of his hair in frustration. He took a picture of the instructions with his phone just in case he forgot them, although he probably could just take the sheet as he doubted anyone was later than him.

Luke sighed as he began the trek to the other side of the campus, feeling quite pissed at this point. It was the twenty first century for crying out loud, couldn't his lecturer just have emailed them about the room change rather than making them walk all the way to their usual room and then to the opposite end of the campus?? At this point Luke was being completely hypocritical 'cause he never checked his university e-mail. For all he knew his lecturer could have done exactly that.

Ten minutes had passed since Luke had entered the Old Building and he had no clue where he was. It had taken him five to find the god damn stairwell. He had finally made it to the third floor and was in the process of trying to find room twenty eight. The only problem was the numbers on the doors were faded to the point where he could barely read them, and even when he could read them they didn't even follow a logical order.

After another five minutes Luke had given up trying to figure out the room numbers and just proceeded to just try every single door. Most of the rooms weren't used anymore, hence why it was called the Old Building.

Luke continued to try each door praying that he would find his class soon, he opened a door to what seemed to be an old store room, which he guessed was for the disused laboratory next door that he had just tried.

Just as he went to leave the room he heard someone clear their throat behind them. Luke jumped approximately a foot in the air, he was so close to hitting his head on the ceiling because of his ridiculous height. As a result he accidentally knocked some boxes off the shelf to his right, sending old paperwork flying.

Luke turned to face the person who had made the noise.

"You shouldn't be in here." An older, stern looking woman scolded Luke, glaring at him.

"I'm so so sorry," Luke apologised "I was just trying to find my class, could you direct me to room twenty eight please?"

"Fifth door on your left." The woman replied shortly, pointing in the direction Luke had to go. He thanked her and proceeded to pick up the papers he had strewn across the floor. She left Luke to it, tutting as she went.

Luke quickly shoved the papers back into their boxes, placing them back on their selves. As he reached to put the final box back on its place he felt something brush against his neck and shivered as a result. Just as he was about to leave the room he felt a sharp sting on the back of his shoulder and cried out in pain.
