The next morning Michael and the rest of Luke's flatmates woke early and headed straight to the hospital, despite their late night and hangovers. They stopped to pick up coffee and breakfast to go at a pret, remembering to get Luke his favourite. 

Luke was already awake and waiting for them by the time they arrived, they were a little delayed as Calum couldn't decide between a blueberry or chocolate muffin. 

"Thank god you're here." Luke said, sounding relieved. He looked much better than he had eight hours previously, although he did look uncomfortable, particularly in the flimsy hospital gown they had given him to wear. 

Michael dropped the clothes  he had grabbed from Luke's room onto his bed. "I just picked up what I thought was clean." He explained.

"It's fine, I just can't wait to get out of this gown. See that old lady over there?" Luke said, discreetly indicating who he was talking about with a jerk of his head. Michael and Ashton sneakily looked over, the others hadn't been allowed into the ward due to the vast number.

"Yeah, what about her?" Ashton replied, cocking his head to the side. 

"I've been to the toilet twice this morning. The first time she wolf-whistled at me, the second time she was coming back from the toilet herself and pinched my butt." Luke said with a horrified expression. 

Ashton and Michael tried their best to keep their expressions neutral, to be sympathetic towards their friend but after a few seconds they couldn't help themselves and burst out in laughter. 

"Dude she's like ninety years old, you have nothing to worry about." Ashton laughed.

"It's not funny, it's sexual harassment!" 

"Alright, alright, we'll stop laughing, we're sorry." Michael appeased. The three of them looked over at the old woman and as if she sensed their stares, she turned to return their gaze. Her eyes focused on Luke and she winked at him before blowing him a kiss. 

It was too much for Michael and Ashton to handle and they both fell about laughing. 

After Ashton and Michael had been kicked out of the ward for 'causing a disturbance', Lauren and Grace made sure that Luke was discharged and helped him gather his minimal belongings. The group took their time making their way home, all laughing and joking whilst making sure Luke was okay. 

Eventually they all split off on their separate ways, Amy, Grace and Chloe all going out to meet some other friends for lunch, Calum and Lauren also disappeared off, leaving Michael, Ashton and Luke to head home. 

Luke was met with a surprise in the form of Tamsyn once they finally got back to halls. She had been waiting in the corridor outside the door to his flat. 

"You're such an idiot, you know that right?" She asked. She had a playful smile on her lips so Luke knew she was only joking around. 

"How did you even-?" Luke started to ask, wondering how she found out about his trip to the hospital, before noticing her eyes flickering to Michael. "Never mind."

Ashton unlocked their front door and Michael, Luke and Tamsyn trailed in after him. There seemed to be a mutual understanding that Tamsyn was welcome to come and go as she pleased. 

As Luke and Tamsyn sat to the kitchen table, Michael and Ashton prepared lunch for them all. Luke took this opportunity to fill in the gaps for Tamsyn with the help from Michael.
