Akaashi rubbed his eyes and opened them as he sat up in the bed. He walked to the bathroom and splashed his swollen face with cold water. The ravenette shivered and walked to the kitchen. The smell rice of porridge filled the room. Bokuto was standing at the stove mixing in a pot. He heard the footsteps of his boyfriend and looked behind him, as he turned the heat of.

-Akaashi- he said and rubbed the back of his head. Akaashi looked up while fiddling with his fingers, nervous.

- I need to apologize, for yesterday- he said almost whispering.

-no its ok, but i called your mom, is that ok?- bokuto said, also tense.

-yes, i am very sorry-

-you'll get better, em i made porridge cause i though it would be the easiest to get down- Bokuto said laughing nervously.

-thank you- Akaashi sat down at the table and watched as Bokuto set the table. Bokuto pored some porridge in to two bowls and handed one to Akaashi. The owl made sure Akaashi started eating before he did.

-it is good, thank you- The ravenette said and smiled.

-hehe, no worries- Bokuto said and smiled. The heavy air lifted ever so slightly and the two boys started chatting about something else.

-oh! right we didn't see the movie yesterday, do you want to finish it after the meal? Bokuto said putting another mouthful of porridge in his mouth.

-yes, we should finish the movie- Akaashi said and looked down at the bowl in front of him. He had eaten about a third of the food. Bokuto looked up at Akaashi. The boy had started tearing up as he looked at the food. He was feeling anxious about yesterday and not eating had become his coping mechanism for everything. The ravenette could feel how his heart started raising. Somewhere in his head he wondered if anybody was disappointed in him for relapsing again. Bokuto got up and put a hand on his shoulder. Akaashi jolted slightly, startled.

-Akaashi you don't need to eat more, its ok- Akaashi nodded. Bokuto knew that Akaashi was being anxious, but mentioning it would only make it worse, and if the boy got irritated God knows what he would do. Therefore Bokuto let it be. He was going to try to support Akaashi by being positive, not mentioning any kind of negative emotions of any kind. Akaashi would talk about his emotions when he was ready, there was no need for bokuto to pull them out of him. He trusted Akaashi, that he would talk eventually, just like the day before. It wasn't a preferred setting but it was enough. The young boy had cleared his mind and was looking up at bokuto with a soft, genuine smile.

-thank you- Bokuto finished his bowl and they both walked to his room.

-hey, em, your mom said that you needed a snack later, em is that ok?- Akaashi nodded and curled up beside bokuto. The owl clicked the pace bar and let the movie run.
