It's fake, duh.
I mean, at first, I fell for it because it looked really believable from first glance, and there was even this extremely detailed video about the game, it's developer, and it's hell of a process being published. But yeah, a quick Google search is all it takes to debunk all of that.
Judging from the footage, I think it was made by the same engine SM64 was on. The flowers, the grass, even the characters eyes look just like it. But it's impressive too. It's kinda like Petscop in a way.
It's cute too.
I kinda wished that it was real, though. We could've gone further with the mystery, perhaps get some people on a blacklist...
Jk jk don't do that, it's not nice.
The game was based on the rumors of the developer, who was said to spend hours upon hours of time in his office working on CC64. Release dates for the game were pushed back further and further as a result. Eventually, the developer was found missing. A boat or something was found days later, and I think his body was floating next to it? I don't know, I forgot. But along with his life went the 5 or 6 year development of the game, every inch of hardware in the office nowhere to be seen.
I like it, really. I wish somebody would make a story about this.
I think I just somehow put myself on a blacklist tho just writing this lmao. It's just a feeling I always get when talking about lost media, ARG or not.
Anyway, good night and stuff, and eat dirt.
