How many days until Cass leaves: five.Cass and I were walking around Corona trying to find something to do since the castle was busy today with getting ready for the festival that's in four days. The decorations were shipped yesterday and were only decorating the inside of the castle, which would take at least three hours with all the workers in the castle. Cass and I offered to help, but Rapunzel denied help and told us to have some fun. Cass ordered me to sit down outside the milkshake and ice cream place at the picnic table as she went inside to get some milkshakes. I sat down on the wooden chair as I watched the world pass me by. Besides all the life threatening parts of Corona, this kingdom is one of the best. Saporia could never compare, everyone there either were too scared to come out of the shadows, wanted revenge on Corona, or were good friends with mother.
"You know, you should really stop calling her mother. Sis, she doesn't deserve that title."
'Sis? What does that mean, where is this slang coming from?' I responded to Bossy in my head.
"It means sister, and anyone can use it for any person. It doesn't mean anything bad."
'Yeah, I'm never using that word.' I responded.
"Suit yourself."
But here in Corona, it's more peaceful. More people are on the streets having a good time, children playing with bouncy balls while eating croissants, and people dancing around by the docks, getting ready for the festival that is coming in a few days. I heard a bell ring and saw Cass with two milkshakes in her hand. Cass places my (f/m) in front of me and put her banana milkshake in front of her.
"Hey (Y/n), you know you haven't told me enough information about what has happened in Corona while you have been here. Give me the details." Cassandra ordered as her short hair slightly moved in the wind. "Especially that one love potion incident."
I shivered from the memory. "Right...so I passed out for unknown reasons while with Varian and he tried to help me with some unknown substances that he thought he tested. But he didn't. Long story short, one of them made me literally obsessed with him. I snuggled him, told him to play with my hair, and gave him some pet names. Gah! It was so embarrassing!" I muttered as I hid my face in my hands.
Cass winced at the story. "Maybe some of this stuff shouldn't be told. But, when we all ate dinner together, everyone kept mentioning about this... "other dinner." What happened? Again, only tell me if you feel comfortable with me." Cass made quotation marks around the words 'other dinner.'
"Well it was the first day I came to Corona and everyone was teasing Varian and I, thinking that we were both in love with each other. Looking at that memory now, it seems funny and cheesy." I chuckled. "A lot has happened since then. It's been around three months ever since I returned and these have been some of the best few months ever. I wouldn't take it back for anything." I took a sip of my milkshake as Cass had a puzzled look on her face.
"Alright, serious question. Come here, sit next to me." Cass pat down on the seat next to her. I don't know what this 'important' question is. Something tells me that this question was going to be immature as I sat down next to Cass.
Cass lowed her voice and got close to me. "Do you actually like Varian?" I knew it. I should have known at this point.
"Alright, so I guess I do. Actually I have for a while now, but do you think I have a chance?" I asked Cass. She snickered. I guess that was my answer.
