GETAWAY

After the absolute shitshow that was the past few months, it was finally time for Noah and Harry to go on their little weekend trip to see Fleetwood Mac in concert.

Harry drove the whole two hours to the city the venue was in, with Noah dancing and singing along to the songs they played along the way. Noah didn't say it, but she was playing a new playlist that she had made. She was inspired by Harry's Munchkin playlist, so she made her own inspired by Harry. All of the songs on the playlist were songs that made her think of him.

Naturally, she called the playlist, 'handsome.'

There were a lot of sensual songs on the playlist, which Noah would sing along to, practically performing them as she sang them to Harry. Harry would just laugh or blush whenever Noah leaned over the center console and sang a particularly raunchy line while trailing her fingers across his chest.

"I believe in miracles," Noah sang in as deep a tone as she could, mimicking the singer of the song that was playing through the speakers, "since you came along, you sexy thing!"

Harry couldn't help but laugh at Noah serenading him with "You Sexy Thing" by Hot Chocolate. He couldn't deny that he was endlessly appreciative of Noah's entertaining presence. After all, a two hour drive could have been very boring if Noah hadn't found ways to entertain Harry simply by being herself.

Soon enough, they arrived in the city that their hotel and the concert venue was in. It wasn't a very exciting town and there wasn't much to do there, but Harry found a very nice hotel for them to stay in, so he figured it would just be a relaxing getaway in a nice hotel suite while also getting to see Fleetwood Mac in concert.

When they made it to the hotel, Noah couldn't help but admire the architecture of the place. It was a cute hotel with all of the rooms being separate buildings that had little walkways up to each one. The rooms looked like little cottages from the outside with cute porches at every entrance. Noah didn't say it out loud, but she was glad that the rooms were not sharing walls with any other room, for a very specific reason.

It didn't take long for them to get checked in and given the details of their room, which they quickly went to once everything was settled. Their room was near the back and had its own parking spot which Harry occupied with his car. Noah was too excited to see the room, so once the car was parked, she climbed out and made her way up the steps to the door with the keycard while Harry began grabbing their bags from the car. There was also a little ramp on the side of the porch which Noah assumed was for wheelchair access, room service cart access, as well as housekeeping cart access.

After Noah opened the door, she felt her lips part as she glanced around the room. The focus was the four-poster canopy bed that was clearly a king size. On one side of the room, there was a small kitchen area that had a few essentials: a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and more. There was also a small desk alongside the kitchen area: plain and simple. On the other side of the room there was a large bay window that had a padded seat in it. Alongside that was an electric fireplace that had a small chaise in front of it. The wall that the kitchen and desk were against had a floral wallpaper that was somewhat outdated, but charming nonetheless. There was also another door in the room that, because it was slightly ajar, Noah could tell led to the bathroom.

The desire to explore the rest of their place for the next three days was too strong, so Noah quickly made her way over to the bathroom and pushed the door open wider. Her lips parted even more as she saw the giant jacuzzi tub next to the giant walk in shower. The whole place looked so nice and pristine that Noah was endlessly impressed at Harry's selection of hotel.
