*Takes place after Alvin's death*

Jordan- 16

16 year old Jordan sighed as she read the paper in her hands, she was once again suspended this time 3 days for a fight and on top of it they needed her father to come in for a conference to discuss her behavior.

She couldn't show her father. Not now at least. They were still mourning the loss of Alvin. He had been murdered while in prison, Jordan watched how badly it tore her father apart. Her father had always been her rock, now she had to be her father's rock.

Her father had been on suspension after shooting and killing the guy who had put out a hit on her godfather. The sixteen-year-old didn't know why. The son of a bitch was pretty much responsible for the death of her godfather. If anything he deserved to die.

Jordan couldn't go home, she couldn't tell her father. Instead she had gone to the district. Lately she'd end up playing referee between Antonio and Adam. She knew Antonio had to tell Internal Affairs about the shooting that her father had done. If she lost her father again because of Antonio, she may not be so forgiving this time.

Walking into the district, Trudy had seen her godmother and the teen had gone to her. "Hey Aunt Trudy"

Looking over the desk Sergeant had seen her goddaughter she rounded the desk hugging her. "Hey sweetheart, I thought you were in school"

"I got suspended. I left before they could call my dad. 3 days this time. They need him to come in for a conference to discuss my behavior"

"You realize you can't hide this from your dad forever right"

"One can try. He doesn't need to deal with this right now he has enough to deal with"

"What was it for this time?"

"Fighting. And between us, I won. Again"

Trudy chuckled and hugged her. "Going upstairs?"

"Mind buzzing me up?"

"Of course"

Jordan had gone to the gate and Trudy buzzed her up, as she was going up the stairs she had heard arguing once again. It was all anyone heard these days. Antonio and Adam were in a heated argument again and Adam was in the senior detective's face.

Lately Jordan was having just about enough of this. She was trying to help her father through this difficult time, she herself had been struggling with her own sobriety and now this. She didn't know how much more she could take before she snapped.

Storming over she pulled Adam back. "Hey! ENOUGH!"

Everyone had looked at the teen, it wasn't often the teen screamed but when she did she was a miniversion of her father. She glared at them.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" Antonio asked.

"Aren't you two supposed to be acting like adults instead of children? Every time I come here it's a screaming match between the two of you. It stops and it stops now" Jordan told them sharply.

"Jo-" Adam started but was cut off.

"I said it stops now Adam" She gave him a pointed look. "My dad may not be here to keep you in line right now but dammit I will. Someone needs to keep you two from killing each other. Adam, whatever Antonio said to internal Affairs was said. Leave it for the higher ups to investigate. What's done is done" She then turned to Antonio. "Don't think I haven't forgotten about you. You're supposed to be the senior detective, start acting like it and stop the bickering with Adam. You're the senior detective, act like it. And between us, if I lose my dad again because of you, don't ever bother showing your face again"
