"Blair? You need to wake up!" A voice shouted. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked down and noticed that I was in my pjs. A thought crossed my mind.

"Did....did Lucas......" I trailed off. Sophia rolled her eyes.

Only you, She replied. I laughed.

This will be useful if I need to talk to you around anyone else, I told her. She nodded.

"He didn't. He wanted to stay and so did Jacob. I kicked them out, though. You need to get dressed and then we can go down to breakfast." She said, already in her uniform. I nodded, getting out of bed.

A few minutes later, I was in my uniform and me and Sophia were walking to breakfast. A lot of the students watched us, wearily.

Sophia cleared her throat.

"We need to talk about last night." Sophia said, abruptly. I nodded.

"Of course." I told her. She gulped and opened her mouth but was interrupted by my uncle.

"You two, ok?" He asked. We both nodded. "That's good. Could you two, Ben, Lucas and Jacob come to my office after breakfast? I've already talked to Mr Ainsley." My uncle informed us. We both nodded.

I hated Mr Ainsley and he hated me. It was the perfect relationship. I'm sure he'd be happy to not teach me. It would probably be the highlight of his drowsy week.

You're lucky he didn't hear you, Lucas said. I turned round to see him, Jacob and Ben walking into the dining room.

"Well, I'll leave you two to eat." Uncle Julian said, kissing my forehead. I stood still. Uncle Julian hadn't kissed me since the day I was born. He....he didn't ever had a reason.

He smiled and walked off.

I walked like a robot to our usual table. I felt empty, like when I thought of Bella.

"You ok, Blair?" Jacob asked, reaching for my hand. I let him take it and nodded.

"Any side effects from your wolf?" Lucas asked. Everyone ,except me, looked at Lucas like he'd grown a second head. I was just confused.

"Are you caring about me?" I asked. He scowled but nodded, looking sheepish.

"It's a pack thing. I care for all these people on this table" Lucas said, quickly.

My my. Lucas North sheepish? I asked him.

Shut up! He chastised me.

" It's just.....family matters." I told him. It wasn't a lie but it wasn't completely true, either.

Do you want to talk about it? He asked.

No, it's alright. I had to deal with Bella's death on my own, I can deal with this. I answered.

I'm not saying you can't but I think you should tell someone. If not me, then someone that you really trust. He said. I nodded.

"Can you remember that fox from last night?" Sophia asked. Her face was scrunched up as if she was in pain. Ben squeezed her hand and she nodded her thanks.

"Yes. I was in too deep, though. I didn't hear anything and it was all fuzzy in terms of sight." I told them. Sophia nodded, her eyes full of tears.

"Oh my god! Did I kill someone?" I asked. Sophia nodded and Lucas ran round to me, Jacob released my hand. I buried my face in his shirt as he eased me off the chair and held me close.I cried fisting his shirt.

"My little sister. Aisha. She was 11." Sophia replied, crying into Ben.

Oh my god!

It's ok, baby. It'll be ok. Don't cry. Please don't cry, Lucas pleaded.

I killed someone, Lucas. Four people. I belong in juvie. Also, I'm not your 'baby'.

The tears came faster now

Jesus. Don't think like that and you are.

I did it, though. You can't the change the fact that it happened.

I ca-. He was cut off as I put my mental walls up. I could feel him trying to break them but I was strong.

I wiped my tears away and, much to Lucas's frustration, stood up. He grabbed my hand and I didn't refuse but I could feel Jacob's eyed burning a hole into my back.

I was about to talk when Aunt Jodie came to my side. She looked at me and Lucas's linked hands and frowned.

"We need to talk, Blair." She said. I shook my head, feeling numb.

"No!" I shouted." What happened?"

Calm down, baby. Lucas coaxed. I breathed out, leaning into his chest. He moved his arm around my shoulder and released my hand. Aunt Jodie frowned at it again but carried on.

Her face suddenly fell.

"Sorry."

"For what?"

"Can we talk somewhere else?" she asked, eyeing my friends. I shook my head.

"Whatever you want to say, you can say it in-front of my friends." I said, firmly.

Are you sure? Lucas asked.

Yeah. You guys are my friends and I don't need to keep anything from you. I do need to talk to you later, though. I told him.

Ok.

We both looked at Aunt Jodie for her answer and the words that left her mouth nearly killed me.

"Your father is dead."
