The next few weeks were filled with reports, Jordan and Ronan, sorry, Azazel's funerals and alerting the paranormal authorities. During all that time, I had been in hospital. Lucas had stayed by my side during all of it and we had officially declared our love for each other and become boyfriend and girlfriend. I know, I know super cliché but so was his kiss to wake me up from my deep sleep.

The same thing had happened to Sophia and Ben. I was so happy for my best friend and me.

"Now, keep eating plenty and drinking five cups of water a day, at least. Your ribs are fully healed, so just take it easy." Miss Carolina told me, discharging me. I nodded my head because I wanted to leave the nurse's ward.

"I'll do all of that, Miss Carolina. Can I go now?" I asked her. She nodded, finishing her ranting. Technically, I had been discharged 2 hours ago but Miss Carolina hadn't stopped talking about what I needed to do in my recovery.

"I'm very sorry, dear. I'm sure you'd like to go now." Miss Carolina said, looking at my expression. I nodded." Don't forget your checkup tomorrow!" She shouted as I walked out of the ward. I waved my thanks and stepped into the corridor.

At last. We'd been practicing walking for the past week. I could walk now, I was just slow.

The corridor was empty. I smiled, knowing where they'd all be. Lucas's birthday party. After the tales of 'Lucas the hero', the rest of the school had warmed up to him.

Damnitt! I needed to go get changed. I got my phone out and started walking towards me and Sophia's dorm room.

Sophia picked up on the second ring:

"What's wrong?" She asked. I could hear the preparations behind her. People were shouting at others to put banners and balloons up.

"I need to get dressed," I told my best friend. She swore and I heard her walk away from the ballroom.

"I thought you were discharged 2 hours ago?!" She blurted out. I could hear her footsteps coming up the corridor now.

"Miss Carolina wouldn't stop talking and I need help going up," I told her, taking my phone away from my ear and smiling as she ran towards me.

I was amazed she didn't trip in her orange ball gown. It was a sunset orange with some flowers embroidered on. It was strapless and Sophia looked absolutely stunning in it.

"Come on!" She shouted. She ran towards me, picked me up and ran towards our room with her shifter speed.

When we arrived, she put me down and I hobbled over to my dress. It was a black a-line, halter neck dress. The skirt skimmed the top of my knees and I had paired it with my favourite black heels.

I got into my dress and sighed.

"Sophia, how am I going to walk in high heels? I can't even walk normally." I reminded my best friends. She swore and rummaged in her wardrobe. I finished putting my dress on and Sophia handed me some black flats.

"Wear these," she ordered. I saluted her and we both laughed. These were the moments that made us forget what happened.

"Oh, I have something for you, Ryann," Sophia said as if she'd only just remembers it. She crouched in-front of her trunk and pulled out a tiara with an onyx stone in the middle.

I covered my mouth and willed the tears not to fall. I quickly put my hair in the half up, half down do and Sophia placed the tiara on my head.

"You look like a Princess." She breathed out. I blushed at the compliment but shook it off.
