I sat up, my back crackling. I looked down and realised that I was in a cell. A cell that they would have in juvie.
What the hell happened?
The pack. Running. The steak!
Damnitt! I knew I should've fed before shifting and that voice.
"Hello, Ryann," The same voice said. I turned my head to the door. I gritted my teeth at the person standing there.
"Ronan. How good to see you again," I greeted my cousin. I was feeling anything but glad to see him. I wanted answers and I'd do anything to get them.
"I'm sure. Now don't struggle or we'll sedate your again." He informed me. I scoffed. Don't struggle!? To hell with that! He could stick it where the sun don't shine!
Two men in black came into the cell, one holding handcuffs and the other holding a tranquilliser gun.
"Stay still," The one with the handcuffs earned me. I nodded, smiling. He put the handcuffs on my hands and I kicked him in the crotch. He groaned, collapsing to the floor.
I turned to tranquilliser and pulled my hands over his head. I pressed my cuffs against his neck and smiled as he lost air.
Then I heard a gun and a prick on my calf.
"Naughty."
That's when I blacked out.
I woke up, in a different room. There were three people. Three people that I knew all too well.
"She awakes!" Charlotte shouted. Bitch! I growled as Ollie approached me.
"Hello, Ryann. Are you feeling ok?" He asked me. I scowled. What kind of a question was that? He'd just sedated me....twice! Of course, I wasn't ok.
"Yeah," I lied. He grinned.
"Playing compliant is a good way to go. Just do it forever and they'll be no problems." Charlotte told me. I gritted my teeth.
I'd trusted these people. Well not Charlotte. She was always a bitch. Ronan was my cousin. Ollie. I liked Ollie. That was the past though. This is the present.
"To hell with being compliant! I'm not going to do anything for you scumbags!" I screamed at them. Ollie tutted me. Charlotte was laughing.
"Now, that's not very nice. I'm figuring you'll do what Ronan tells you anyway." He said. The last part was more to himself but he had said it loud enough for me to hear. He wanted me to take the bait. I'd never wanted to gamble but I was willing to this time.
"I won't. Ronan might be my cousin but he can't tell me to do anything." I told Ollie. Then they all started smiling. It wasn't a nice smile, it was a blood curdling smile. I felt like my skin was going to abandon me and I'd be nothing less than meat and bones.
"Only your mother or father can tell you, right?" Charlotte asked. I nodded. I was intrigued right now.
Charlotte made her way over, swaying her hips and pulled a folder out of Ollie's hand as she passed by.
She handed the folder to me and I opened it.
"Listen to this, Conway. Ronan Julian Axton is actually Azazel Seth Conway, your biological father."
