I rushed downstairs and opened the letter and I was going to start reading but I wanted to do it with Dex so I sent him a message and we both brewed an invisiblity potion and met up at the tower."Why are we here?"I sighed and gave him the letter."I wanted to read it myself but this is the first letter I got from my mother ever since I came here.Can you read it for me?I don't want to accidently burn it."He chuckled and started to reading it out-loud.

Dear Rosalind,I know I haven't written you ever since you left.I wanted to but...I couldn't.It didn't feel...right.But your grandparents came after decades and told us that you almost died.I insisted your father we came and see you but he was so busy all the time.I have to admit I felt like the ground beneath me had crumbled into pieces when I heard your father read the fire message you sent.But I don't want you gone either.I love you and you are my daughter.But I want you to understand that we need time.Time to...adjust to this news.Come home for Chrismas.I'm sure your father will behave.Get well soon my honeybun.I will see you at Chrismas holiday. -Love,mom

"Time to adjust?She couldn't write because it didn't feel right?The ground beneath her crumbled?Come home for Chrismas?My father will never behave Dexter!Never!"It was getting harder and harder by second to hold the fire inside of me inside me.Dexter was trying to calm me down but it was no use.Then I remembered a spell incantation.I started chanting it.But it was even harder than I imagined.I was getting really tired and that's when my clubmates showed up and formed a circle around me with our headmaster who was also a fire elemental.

I was on my knees and trusting them I blew out!Dexter joined them to help them but he wasn't strong enough.But after Ralph joined they were strong enough until I let out every bit of rage in me.But then I swollowed all the fire around me and calmed down.Headmaster rushed next to me."Ms.Monroe?"I was panting."I'm fine headmaster Lyre."He turned to the other students."Go back to your club tower!NOW!"They all ran out except Cooper and Rolland.They helped the headmaster to get me in his office.

"Three weeks in and we are still having problems that includes you Ms.Monroe.If Mr.Fern and Bay hadn't joined the circle you could've blew up the entire school with that rage within you."I sighed."I tried every spell,incantiation or strategies that were thaught to me to this very day.None of them were strong enough to contain me.I tried.I really did.I'm sorry."Headmaster sighed."I should be calling your parents about this but...I won't.I want to believe that you tried.Partly because I know deep down you did.But also because you are a great student.I know you haven't been able to attend your classes properly for a while but...you're strong and you have immense will power.Even though it was strictly forbidden that Professor Dresden did that spell on you the first day with the one of the worst memory in your mind but you showed that you were in control of yourself.So I know you tried.This is why I won't suspend or expel you.But be careful from now on."

I sighed."Thank you headmaster."He called Rolland over."Escort Ms.Monroe to her dormitory please."He nodded and we walked to the dorms together."If I wasn't an earth I would have joined the circle."I chuckled."You would.But you couldn't.And it's alright."We joked around as he walked me to my dorm.

After he left I walked intot he club tower and everybody was waiting for me to say something."So Princess?Are you expelled?"I rolled my eyes at Ralph."Did you want me to get expelled?Because if so...boo hoo!This bitch ain't going anywhere."I winked and Sliver came.Some of my classmates and I had a group hug and it was pretty lovely.Us Dragondeth might be driven by mind but we have feelings too.

Following few days were the same.I would come to the breakfast area in the morning.Everybody in my club would whisper "Princess"thanks to Ralph.I would sit with Silver and Kendrick.Ralph would bully me about my parents.At least he would try.Then things calmed down until the day before Chrismas holiday leave.We were having breakfast and headmaster got on his stand."Students!Attention please!"He cleared his throat."As you know tomorrow morning is Chrismas leave.So...just like every year we,your professors,will let you have your fun within this very hall you are eating at the moment.After dinner the hall will be cleared,Food and drinks will be served.Hall will be decorated and us professors won't be here.Have a fun party tonight!"

As we got back to our breakfast Kendrick started planning with his friends."Last year we couldn't sneak in booze.This year we'll do it."I laughed."I could sneak in booze if I could because I know for a fact that this place doesn't have a good red wine,whiskey or rum."They all turned to me.The whole table.At least the ones who heard me."What?Mama doesn't only like her food but she likes her drinks too."Silver looked at me."You are weird."I chuckled."I know.Very obvious.It's very dense of you to realize it now Silver."She rolled her eyes.

I got asked out from other houses's first years.Only three people though.Not that much.What I didn't expect was Kendrick,Ivory,Rolland,Dove and...Dexter?I mean...Dexter?!Though it is understandable that he asks me because I am his best friend.I came to the dorms that night.Silver was hollering around me."So?Who did you say yes to?"None.I haven't decided yet.

"I would like to go check my closet if I can go before I answered any of them."When I got to my bedside I found a present.I read the card.It was from my grandparents.I opened it and it was a beautiful black dress with roses on it with red.Under the dress there was a red rose beneath.It smelled marvelous.

"Who is it from?""My grandparents.But I assume it's my grandma."The whole girl dormitory went ouu..."Dang.That's one stylish grandma there."We laughed and I got dressed.And I finally decided.
