I woke up.My head was banging and someone was on me.If it's Marigold I'm killing her.But it wasn't her.It was Rose.I placed my hand on her's and saw that the flamekeeper she gave me wasn't there.I panicked until I saw the tear stain on her face.I tilted my head onto her's."I'm fine."I kissed her forehead and that's when the nurse came."It's time for your medicine honey."I sighed."How long can it wait?"She giggled and left.I looked at her wrist and she's still wearing them both.Regardless of everything never did I ever saw her without them.I stared at her for a while.Then I softly tried to wake her up.I brushed my nose against her forehead.I whispered slowly and softly."Rose?""What grandpa?"I chuckled but it kinda hurt."Rose I'm not your grandpa.""Hester get the fuck off of me."I brushed her hair and tucked it behind her ear.I rubbed her cheek."Rose you have to wake up it's time for my medication."

She slowly woke up."You're awake.How long have you been awake?Why didn't you wake me up earlier?How are you?Does it hurt?Main question is why didn't you wake me up?!"She kinda yelled but it was silent.But every time I looked at her I remembered her and Crooks making out."I think the main question is why are you here?Aren't you supposed to be with your fiancé?"I rolled my eyes."Where is the flamekeeper?"I took it out of my pocket."I took it of to check your pulse.Here."She gave it back.I put it on.

I sighed."Have you figured it out yet?Why I let you had it even after I learned?"He tried to get up and it hurt so I tried to help but he gave me that one look that doesn't terrify me but hurts me." I don't know what I was thinking!You hate me. I hate you.Just because we called for a truce doesn't mean we're friends.I should've listened to Alex."I turned around and stormed off with a door slam.What was I thinking?!What the hell was I thinking?I went to the club tower and changed.I took a shower.I was ready by lunch and I sat next to Crooks."Where have you been all day?You never came back.""I'm sorry I fell asleep."H rolled his eyes."For a whole day and today until lunch?You fell asleep for whole two days?"I rolled my eyes."You are his best friend and no one was waiting for him.I felt bad.I got what I deserved now I'm here so can we please eat?I haven't had something for real for these past two days."He scoffed and went back to his food.I went back to mine.But I left early.I bumped into Peter later around the field."Hey Peter."He sighed."What is it?"He knows me.Just not well enough.But he does.

"Nothing."He rolled his eyes."I may not know you completely but I loved you once.I know if something is wrong."I took a deep breath."I can't take it anymore."I crashed onto him.He hugged me back.But then I broke the hug."I'm sorry.I need to go watch the practice.It's my punishment for blowing up for the rest of the year."He was confused."I'll tell yo about it later.Thank you for the hug."Then we went on our own way.I went to the bleachers and found myself a seat.Practice wasn't as long as it used to be because of Ralph's absence.Next week was their first match.Then the next day they don't have a match and the day after that they have nothing to do then the finals.

Crooks and I went to lunch and nothing actually happened until the match.We were all on the bleachers.It was Dragondeth versus Dolphtail.I couldn't have careless.But damn was it violent.So...violent.I went down to the bench to sit with whoever was down there to understand the thing.I was so confused and if I am forced to watch this violent thing I might as well know what's going on.I asked the guy next to me and he told me a couple things.I was just about to go back to the bleachers.I thanked the guy and then Crooks spun me around and kissed me."Dude!Give a warning or something.""Warning."Then he came for another one.Then the break ended and it was time for the second half.I went up back to my seat and sat there.With each day this is getting harder to pretend.I'm trying my best here but...I'm engaged.To the biggest jerk.Around the friggin globe!In the meantime I am lying to my friends and getting assulted at the same time.This situation is nowhere fair to me.But I'm the only one who could do it.

After the match everybody was going to the backyard.And Crooks took me there with him.Shit ton of alcohol.So snuck out of there and went up to the big tower."This place reeks of alcohol."I turned."I know Silv.It's me.Somebody spilled a little beer on me."Silver sat next to me."You know it's weird.My detention is to do things that you guys enjoy but I don't."She chuckled."Girl you are lucky to get such a detention.It's so cool and perfect."I rolled my eyes."No it's not.I'd rather sit on my bed and sleep.I love sleeping."I sighed."Anyways.What are you doing here?Shouldn't you be out there?Having fun?"She took a deep breath."You've been off for a couple days.And you changed a lot in these past years I've known you and I figured that there is either something good going on or something wrong.And as your friend I'd like to know."Silver is figuring it all out.

"I am changing.I am going through some stuff.But I don't want to talk about it.Or think about it.It pains me and I'm fine with that.I'm dealing with all of it on my terms and I would really appreciate it."She sighed."Let's go get some hot coco.I talked more than I wanted."I dragged her to the kitchen and I saw the others there.Rolland,Cooper,Dove and Ivory,Delilah and Dexter too.They were laughing and joking around.We joined.Alex came a couple minutes later.We all talked.Some drank coffee.Some drank herbal tea.Some drank hot coco.But this was one of the best moments of my life.Equal.We had Lionclutch.We had Dolphtail.We had Eaglewan and Dragondeth.All together.At different ages.Rlaph came at some point but he left after getting spare cups from the cabinet.
