I waited for them to get out and give me some good news.I slept there and the following morning there was still no news.One of the nurses saw me and brought me some coffee.And around lunch they finally came out.The doctor's uniform was red with her blood."Ralph you're still here?Guess she was right.Anyways uhm...she'll be fine but she is still in a critical position.We did what we could but it's her that needs to wake up.72 hours and she isn't waking up then we might start to get worried.Ok?""I want to see her.I need to see her."Doctor tried to stop me."You don't understand I need to see her!"Then I saw Alex and stopped.He was frozen and I realized I was covered in her blood.He started walking towards me."What did you do to her?!"He slammed me to the wall.I didn't resist."What did you do?!"He kept blaming me.But the doctor took him off of me."It wasn't Ralph!"He stopped and backed away in his terms.Then the doctor explained the whole thing to the both of us.

"A dragon?Where did she find a friggin dragon?!"Doctor sighed and sit down next to us."Miles away from the school there are dragons living here.We know many of them but all of them know that they need to stay away from the humans."I chuckled."She wasn't a human when she went there.She flew there."Doctor turned to me."How would you know Ralph?"Alex oh naive Alex.I stood up and stayed away before I turned into a dragon."Does this explain?"I turned back."Explains a lot but...she wasn't a dragon when she got hit by one."Then it hit me.The dragon she is friends with.The ones that brought me and her back to my manor's ruins."Both of you leave.Once you guys are allowed to see her I'll let you two know."I chuckled."I'm not going anwhere until she is awake and able to talk to me."Alex agreed with me so he just gave up and let us stay.

I was leaving the lunch area with a friend of mine.We were talking on our way to our club tower.That's when a flame found me."Dexter?"I nodded."Hospital wing."I knew it was unusual but hospital wing?I left my friend there and went to the hospital wing to find a blood covered Ralph and a bad looking Alex."What the hell happened?!Where is Rose?!"They explained what they knew to me and I just stayed there with them.After a while Alex got hungry and he went to get dinner.It was me and Ralph."Why are ou here Ralph?"He turned to me."She stayed for me.The least I could do is return the favor."I don't believe him one bit."I don't believe you.I think you're here because you like her.I don't mean it in a romantic way though.I think you like her in general.I would totally get it if you liked her romantically.But you're here because you like having her around.She challanges you.She goes against you and everything you believe."

"I think it goes both ways Dixie."I chuckled."Answer me honestly and it'll be easy for me to figure out if it goes both ways for sure.Has she hugged you?"He nodded."You guys talked?And I mean talking about emotions man.Deep ones."He nodded."Then it's most likely that she likes having you around too."We waited in silence for a couple minutes."What would she do if she loved me?You know...the way she loves you."I know it's not that way but I'll ask."Does she trust you?"He thought about it a bit.Then he mumbled under his breath."Let me keep the flamekeeper.That's-"Then he turned to me."She does trust me."Ok so I haven't heard that from any of her friends in a very long time.Like...ever."She did save my life a couple times.So did I."I sighed."Thanks by the way.I may not like you but you do care so...I owe you one dude."I made a fist bump and he returned it."She has a beautiful voice you know?I haven't heard her sing in 8 or 9 years though."

"I-I-I didn't.But Dixie can I ask you something?"I turned to Ralph."Sure man."He took a deep breath."Why does she cry when she sees a baby?""I can't answer that because I have no idea what you're talking about.I've seen her around babies."

LIE!Totally a lie.I know exactly why she doesn't want to be around a baby.Or why she cries.But it's not my story to tell.

"Anyways.I wish she sang again."He chuckled."She did actually.I don't remember it but three years ago.I don't remember what happened but she said that I knocked on her door and she took me to my room.According to her I asked her to sing me a lullaby.And she did.I don't remember shit though.Besides she sang to the baby giant just yesterday when it started crying while we were washing it."She sang to him.SHE sang to HIM?!"You're lucky.I have been begging her to sing again for years."

"Why did she stop?"I chuckled."Her music teacher told her that she had the voice of a donkey when she was little.She gave up after that."This I can lie about.

That doesn't sound like Rose at all.She wouldn't give up on something with a word.He's lying.He's obviously lying to me.Then the doctor came."Where is the third?"Then Alex came."So uhm...We completed 20 hours.And she is showing no signs of waking up."I got up."Let me see her!"Nurses stopped me.Then Alex and Dexter pulled me back.Then Juniper came."Where is she?!WHERE IS SHE!?"I backed down.Then the ground started shaking."WHERE IS SHE?!"I stood in front of him.I towered him."Calm down Juniper."He chuckled."She is my faincé stop acting like she's yours Ralph."I chuckled."I think you lost the bet."I turned back to the others.

After everything calmed down we four sat down.I was still covered in blood.I turned to Alex."I need a new shirt.I can't leave yet.Do you mind?"He sighed."No.I need to change too."I took off my shirt and gave it to him."Burn it."He nodded and left.

I grabbed the shirt from Ralph and left.I came to the club tower and went over to the fireplace.I threw the shirt in there with everybody watching.I went to his bedroom after I changed.I was about to leave when Mari picked up on me."Where is your slut sister?Leaving you?"I rolled my eyes."I'm not in the mood Mari.Good night."I left.She started whispering about me to her friends but I was just worried about Rose.
