Days went by and I had to have two drops to get my head straight.It was getting worse.I went to see Baul daily with Ralph.When we came back we always sleeped in his bed because I don't want him to have nightmares and he doesn't want me to be alone if my headaches gets worse.We were in emotion control a few weeks later and three drops was not enough anymore."Professor Dresden?May I leave?"Eyes wet and tears started running."No Ms.Monroe.You may not leave."I sighed."Professor Dresden you don't understand I need to leave."Ralph turned to his back from the front seat.Then he turned to Dresden."Professor she really does need to leave."I couldn't wait for his approval anymore."I'm sorry Professor.But I'm leaving regardless of you word."I grabbed my bag and just as I was about to walk away he shut the door.I wanted to say something but I couldn't even hear myself think.My head was aching so bad."Rose?"Ivory,Ralph,Cooper and Rolland came over.They were talking but I couldn't hear them.In the end I just blacked out and it all went dead silent.

"Professor Dresden we have to leave if you want your student to be alive at the end of today!"I picked her up and left.I took her to my family mansion.My mom opened the door.What is going on?What is she doing here?What happened to her?Are you ok?"Mom was acting like her old self.After we went to the Bahamas she changed and now...years later she's like herself again."Dad put a curse on Rose.She's been struggling for two months now."She sighed."Bring her in."I brought her in and mom went to find dad.They came down fighting.Until it all went silent.That's when dad barged into my room."I knew you would bring her back on your own will."I rolled my eyes.

I placed Rose on my bed and turned to my father."Take the curse."He laughed."So she can turn into a power freak and defeat me?I don't think so.Demon eyes.Belladonna hair.Black flames all around her."

"I don't know what the hell you're talkign about but!..I know if you won't take that curse back I know what I'll do to you!"I was losing it."You look the exact opposite of her full potential.White eyes.White hair.White flames surrounding you.This...this is incredible."

I caught a glance of my reflection from the mirror in my room.He wasn't kidding.I should've calmed down but him being right pissed me off even more.So the flames got greater and bigger with my anger."BRING HER BACK!"He got scared.But then he calmed down and started chanting.Once he was done she still wasn't awake.Later on mom came in.She looked different once again."Is that whore waking up?"I was just about to calm down completely then she triggered me and I was furious.Then I smelt smoke and took the ring off of her finger and placed it in my pocket.She jumped away and left after she saw me losing it."GET OUT!"He laughed.Then I heard Rose whispering and forgot about my father completely."Rose?"

"R-Ralph?"She sounded so tired.So drained.It's like she was dying and that scared the living hell out of me."I'm here.It's ok.You're gonna alright."Before I knew it my tears fell on her face."Tell me you didn't go to your father."I sighed.She tried to get up but I picked her up instead."GET OUT OF MY WAY!"He seemed way too calm about this.He got out of the way and when I got downstairs I saw the crowded enterance."What is this?"Few of the guys grabbed me and a guy grabbed her and placed a knife around her neck.Then another guy brought my mom with another knife around her neck.Dad came up to me and stood behind me."Which one?"

"Y-You can't be serious!One of them is my mom and the other one is my other half!That's not fair!"But he didn't care.He wanted me to choose."If I lift the curse off of your mother she will go back to the way she used to be years ago.And she'll love.If you choose your other half as you called it...your mom will die and I will turn both of your lives a living hell.Ending with you dying and me taking her to myself."He was sick in the head.He was being delusional!"Ralph!Choose your mom!"Then the knife on Rose's neck pressured more."Ralph listen to me!She is your other half!You can live without me but you can't live without her!"

Dad must've lifted the curse because she was being kind like she used to be.Mom started crying."Choose her!"Dad laughed and went over to his wife."Brave.Dying for a girl you bearly know."Mom sighed."She can give him the world we couldn't give him in almost 19 years."He chuckled."Once he makes his decision we will all see."He turned to me.But Rose spoke up."You're sick!You're a maniac!That's his mom!The woman who birthed and raised him!You should be locked up in a mental facility!"He turned to Rose and started walking towards her and I jumped in front of her and that's when the other guy slit my mother's throat wide open!"NO!"All of the other guys vanished away.Rose fell on her knees next to me.

He killed her.He watched his mother's dead body. I on the other hand ran at her body."Look after him for me."She coughed up blood."I will.I promise."She nodded."I'm happy he chose you over me."Then she gave her last breath. I closed her eyes and went back to Ralph.I wrapped my arm around his neck pulling him onto me and stroked his hair with my other hand while I started crying out of frustration. I had no idea how to prevent it now it's too late. I locked eyes with Phoenix."How could you do this?!He's your son and she was your wife!"Ralph was crying and losing himself a little more with his tears."You're a monster."I whistled loud and long for Baul.A few seconds later he was there with those huge wings crashing from the roof.He grabbed us and flew away.He dropped us to the big tower.

"I'm so sorry. If I hadn't spoke up you wouldn't have thrown yourself in front of me and your mom would be alive. I'm so sorry."I cried and he hugged me tighter."I would've chosen you every time."
