Following morning I left Peter a letter explaining that me and my grandparents have to leave.I left Alex a letter telling the entire story.We were right.They did call us to the headquarters."It hasn't been a year Ms.Monroe and here we are."I rolled my eyes and got to my seat."Today's issue is the legal guardian change of Rosalind Esmé Monroe.Now I ask.Why do you want to take her in Mr and Mrs.Monroe?"My grandparents stood up and explained.My father kept objecting and objecting.After hours of discussion and three break times it was my turn to speak.I've been here for over 9 hours now."Ms.Monroe please take the stand as the child."I walked in front of the judge."What do you have to say about this?Knowing you...you have something to say.You're a strong opiniated child."I sighed.
"I do.But...I have evidence that my parents doesn't help my mental or physical health.""Evidence?!"Judge turned to my father."Please keep quiet Mr.Monroe the stand is Ms.Monroe's."I sighed and got my bag.I took out my presciptions and my pills.I had a finished bottle too.I brought it with me.
"This evidence."A helper got the prescription paper and my pill bottles to the judge so he can examine them."This is the evidence on them messing up my mental health.I'm fine now.And the physical evidence happened here lasy year.When I spoke up my father took out the air in my lungs just to shush me.That wasn't the first time sir."The helper brought me back my prescription and my pills and placed them back in my bag."But that's not it.The main reason I know I should stay with my grandparents is that they gave me the family I longed for years.Family dinners that everybody attends.A male father figure that actually knows the meaning of being a father.I got to know my relatives for the first time.They spend time with me.They don't lock themselves up in an office because they're 'busy' all the time.They take time to be there for me.When I'm hurting I know they will be there for me.When I'M happy I know they will celebrate with me.I know that when I achieve something they will be proud of me.They won't be disgusted or scared like my parents.And I know they didn't deserve an unappreciative son like my father.They deserved a daughter like me.I know I can't be theri daughter but I can be the granddaughter they deserve.So I want to stay with my grandparents because that's what I know the both sides need."
"Alright then.One last break and I will be back with the results."At break time I got a letter from Alex.
Hey,It's been almost 12 hours.When are you guys coming back?I can't keep him in the house anymore.He wants to write to you or call you or somehow reach out to you.I need you back here.Get back at me as soon as it can and tell me how it's all going over there.I want to be ready when you come back.It's either a celebration snowball fight or hot coco and sad movies. -Alex,your lovely annoying cousin
I sent him a letter back.
Everything is going over here.Good or bad?I don't know yet.We're at the last break and then judge will call us in for the last time but I hope that this 12 hours was worth it.I can't go back there.Tell Peter I'm coming back as soon as I could.I love you,you idiot.See you later. -Rose,your annoying little older and smarter sister(only sister)
Then we were called back."I have decided after spending every minute on this case because you guys wanted it done by tonight that Rosalind Esmé Monroe is from now on under the control of her grandparents."He hit his gavel to his stand and I turned to my grandparents and hugged them so tight.
While my grandparents were dealing with the paperwork I sent a letter to Alex and started waiting for them.That's when mom found me."Hey honey."I turned around."Mom?"She sighed."I'm sorry.I would've tried harder if I knew."I sighed."It's over now.You guys are scared and disgusted by me and I'm ok with it."She took a deep breath."If you were ok you wouldn't be back on your medication honey.I know you."I chuckled."Exactly.You know me.Yet you decided to think that I was a completely new person when I got in Dragondeth."She sighed."Can I at least hug you?For old times' sake?"I sighed."Uhm..Sure."She hugged me and I softly hugged back but her grip was really tight.I almost believed that...she actually missed me.
"I'm really sorry I judged you too quickly.I'm so sorry that I couldn't convince your father to come and see you with me.If I did I would've been there.You know how he is.It's either the both of us or none of us."I nodded and broke the hug."Yeah...I know how dad is."Then I looked up to the ceiling to keep my tears from falling."You should go.Dad will be furious with you once he hears that you came and talked to a disgusting Dragondeth."She sighed."Alright then.Take good care of yourself baby."She kissed my forehead and left.A few minutes later my grandparents came and we went back to their manor in Sapienta.
"ALEX!PETER!WE'RE BACK!"Peter came rushing and kissed me in front of everybody so I whispered."This isn't Paris.If you don't want to die...please back off."He chuckled and hugged me instead.After that tight hug I turned to Alex and his grandparents and his parents."According to the verdict we won because of me.I'm here."With tears of joy falling I looked at my entire family with my grandparents having my back."I permanently live here guys.I don't have to go back there anymore.They're sending all of my stuff here."Peter was of course confused but the rest of them was so happy for me.Me and Alex went to the kitchen with Hector and Babette.Peter joined us and made me coffee while me and Alex baked some cupcakes.
We enjoyed a little party of our own.We all dressed up and met at the ball room.We danced and had fun.Celebrated this sudden change with a sudden party.And I looked fabulous.

I danced with grandpa,great-uncle George,Alex's father,Alex and Peter.It was so fun.We had drinks but I stuck with non-alcoholic beverages.It's better that way.
