I went to Alex."I got lucky."But he hugged me tightly instead of a reply.I hugged him back."Hey I'm fine.The guy is terrified of me.More than I am of him.Even though he almost killed me.More than one time."He let go of me.I turned to Crooks."You look like you have something to say.Spit it out Juniper."He let out a breath I think he didn't know he was holding."You weren't lying."I sighed."I wouldn't emberass myself in front of everyone just to ruin somebody else's reputation Crooks."I turned to Alex."I'm gonna go check up on Ralph.Ok?"He shook his head but I left anyways."Hey bunny."He wasn't moving."Ralph?"I leaned on his nose to listen his breathing but he wasn't breathing."Ralph?!"I took his wrist.I took off the flamekeeper to check his pulse.It was pulsing but so slow.Slower than his natural pulse.I turned to the boys.

"He's not breathing and he has faint pulse.We need to take him to the hospital wing."The boys carried him to the hospital wing and we started waiting outside."And you said not to check up on him.They he could've died."I sat down and stared at the flamekeeper in my hand.It was black and there was no motive on it.I never felt this much need to stare at a bracelet."Isn't that Ralph's flamekeeper?"I nodded."Who's flame do you think is it?"I don't want to answer it honsetly.I don't think it's wise to do so."I don't know."He got it."I'll give it to him.You two should go."I sent Alex away."I don't think it's wise for you to keep it.You lost more than half of your stuff only this semster Juniper.You lose this and he might actually kill you.He loves this thing for some reason."

"How do you know that?"I rolled my eyes."Never takes it off.I sat next to him in class and in detention for god knows how many times.I noticed it.I observe well if you hadn't notice."He rolled his eyes."I guess.I never liked this thing.You keep it.Whatever."He gave me the bracelet and left.I thought he was waiting for him.Whatever.Not long after Lyre showed up."What happened?"I got up from my seat and turned to him."Phoenix Fern.Crooks said he was dealing with family affairs and I came as fast as I could.But he wasn't breathing and he bearly had a pulse. I'm so sorry I didn't get you sooner."He sighed."This happened before?"I nodded."He goes around with a glamour.I think I'm the only one who knew.But get in my mind see how it went if you don't believe me."He took a deep breath and came over."It's not because I don't trust you it's because I need to know what exactly happened to defend you both."I nodded.

It was like I was re-living it all over in my head."That's a lot to handle for a young girl at your age.You sure you're not in shock?"I nodded."No I'm fine.I just want to see if he's better or not.I know he doesn't like having me around him."He nodded."I'll go inside and check for you if you want."I sighed."That'd be perfect.Thank you."He went inside and he came back after an hour or more."He'll make full recovery but he still can't have visitors.Are you waiting until you see him or are you going to leave now?"I sighed."I-I-I don't want to.Not until I see he's fine at least."He nodded and placed his hand on my shoulder."It's a very nice thing you're doing for someone who hates you.And his father also seems to despise you."I chuckled."Yeah.""I'll see you around Ms.Monroe."

I waited.I even slept there.I skipped breakfast and Alex came to see me."What are you doing here?"I rubbed my eye to be wake myself up."Alex?I've been here all night?"He helped my get up."All night?I thought you would've came back after they said he was ok."I sighed."Believe it or not he wouldn't have left if I was the one inside."He hugged."Well good morning."I hugged him back."Good morning to you too."I broke the hug."Who knows?"He sighed."Fortunately Crooks kept it quiet.So did Lyre.So besides us...no one knows."I gave him a soft squeeze on the shoulder."I'm going to be here for a while I think.Get me my notes from a classmate for me.Ok?"He nodded." I don't get why you care about him so much. I really don't.He hates you.His family hates you.You're with Crooks for you know reasons.I don't get why.I just don't."

He's right.He is absolutely right.I have literally no reason to be here besides the time he secretly comforted me.Some times not so secretly.He saved my life once.And I owe him a lot for that."I-I have my reasons for that.You go.I'll be here.And if you're on your free period...bring me coffee.Please?"He nodded not wanting and left. I'm lucky he loves me or he would have left me a long ass time ago.

Just today Alex brought me four cup of coffees.One on his first period.One after lunch.One on his other free period.One after dinner and one before it was too late.He brought me some little stuff to eat so I won't die.Or faint like I did before.A little after midnight the nurse got out."You can see him now if you prefer."I got up and rubbed my eyes and stretched."I'd like to see him now."She led me to his side and I pulled up a chair."Hey bunny."A couple tears fell."You're lucky I checked up on you right on time you know."I brushed his hair off of his face."I would've waited there for days if I had to."I wiped my tears and I placed my head onto his chest."When Crooks said you had family affairs to deal with...I was so worried.You freaked me out.I thought that if I were late than you would be dead.And I was almost right.I don't want to be right Ralph.I can't be right about this.You know Hector told me that it was you after you left."I rubbed his cheek and left my head there as I rested on him."Good night Bunny"I saw terrible nightmares that night.I woke up for thousands of times.But I finally managed to fell asleep.
