Later on we went back inside.We were about to go back to my room when my grandfather came over."I was looking for you two.Have ou two packed?We're going to my other manor in the mundane realm."We made eye contact with Rose."No we haven't.You didn't tell us to do so."He sighed."Well I must've forgot.Tonight you two must pack.It's a little over midnight.I got some of my men to pack your stuff Ralph in case your father is at home.But your carriage,Rosalind,is waiting."She thanked him and he left."I-I-I should probably go and pack.Do you mind coming with me?"I shook my head."No,love.Of course not."She made me a weak but genuine smile and we left.

I rang the doorbell and my grandparents answered.They both hugged me tight.They were both crying."We got your letter but it wasn't convincing enough."I hugged them both back."I'm ok.I'm alright you two."My grandfather stroked my hair as my grandma held both of my hands."I can't stay."They both stepped away."I'm going to the mundane realm.But I will write everyday.I promise.I need to pack my stuff."They were disappointed.I turned to Ralph and we went to knock on Alex's door."Alex?"I heard his running footsteps towards his door and as soon as he opened it he tightly hugged my neck.He was crying."You're alright."I chuckled."I am."I broke the hug and wiped his face."I'm ok.Don't cry.Look I'm perfectly fine."I fixed his messed up hair.

"Will you come back to school?"I sighed."I-I don't know yet.I don't know anything.Niether does Ralph.We just know that we just made history.But it doesn't even makes sense."I took a deep breath."I'm going to the mundane realm.I don't know when I'll be able to get back."He shut the door to my face and I felt useless.Utterly useless."H-he'll come around."I chuckled as I wiped that one single tear."No he won't.And he has every right not to."I went to my room and all four of them flew to me."Hey.""Hey baby."Babette kissed my cheeks.Dalinda kissed the other while Brenton made himself comfortable around my neck like his father.Then girls joined them."I missed you all so much."Then I got Pedro the pet bunny from the ground and hugged him too."Ralph?""Yes,love?"I sighed."Do you think your grandfather would let me take them with us when we leave?""He'll have to.You love them and unlike your other family members they're not human."I reached for his hand."I know the mundane world is not that horrible but...I love it here.I don't want to leave."

"Niether do I.I've barely been to mundane realm.I was born here.I was raised here.I went there a couple times for debates,legal purposes or some useless vaacations."We both sighed.He got my suitcases open and I just threw my clothes into them."I'm seventeen and you're eighteen.This shouldn't be happening to us."I covered my face and stood still.He came over and hugged me."But it happened.And there is nothing we can do right now.Maybe later.But not now."I nodded and hugged him back."You're too calm about this."He chuckled and broke the hug."Because I have nothing to leave behind except you and you're coming with me.You on the other hand...have a lot to leave behind."I sighed.,

"I do.Oh my...Before I came here I didn't even know my grandparents.Now I have a whole family to leave."I took a deep breath and pet the dragons around my neck who have fallen asleep there."At least they'll be able to come."He smiled."You know I had a dog once.That's until dad killed her.""Ok that's just plain horrifying."There was a silent moment before we broke into laughter."Ok I think this is it."Half of my closet was empty and I had a big and a small suitcase packed."This is fucked."I rolled my eyes."I can't say it isn't,love."He got the big one and I got the small one before we left.I gave the little one to him too so I could check up on Alex as he went downstairs."Alex?"It was complete silence but I know he's in there.

"Alex you're my little brother.You lived in the mundane world for years!Just like I did!I don't know if Mr.Fern would let you but you can visit.Maybe I can come.Look,Alex I love you.And you're a huge part of my life.Please!I am begging you don't make me leave before seeing you!"He slowly opened the door."I'm not mad.I'm ok with you going.It's just...you won't be around as much as you used to be now you're going to the mundane world.And even after yo come back you'll have Ralph.I don't hate the guy as much as I used to but I'm not thrilled if you couldn't tell."I chuckled."Even he can't keep me from you.""He kept you to himself for a week straight or do I need to remind you?"I sighed.

"That's different."We both chuckled."So are we good?"He took a deep breath."We're good.But...what will I do when I go back?Will you be there?I know it sounds pathetic but you're my best friend and basically my only friend."I sighed."I don't know.But I'll write if that makes you feel better."He nodded and we hugged before I left.

We came back to Jayden and Michelle's manor and I was in my room watching the outside when it hit me.I forgot to say goodbye to Baul.I know we had some...stuff.But it wasn't him.That was his dragon nature.He's slowly losing his human side.I ran into Ralph's room while he was changing.I turned around."I just came over to tell you that I'm going out for a couple hours.I'll be back before sunrise though.Don't worry."He spun me around."Where are you going?""You will hate it."
