I haven't talked to Kendrick after that.No one knows what we're actually fighting about.But we never even looked into each other's eyes.I knew I was doing the right thing.I know I did.I considered his feelings and asked how he was.He could've just said he was still coping with it but no.He walked away and the thing got bigger and bigger like a snowball rolling down a snowy mountain.Ugh!I hate fighting.

I was at the library doing my homework when Silver tapped on my shoulder and whispered."Come with me.""What is it?"She sighed."Just come."I nodded and picked up my books.I followed her to the club tower."Why am I here I have a lot of homeworks?"Silver rolled her eyes."We all know you finished the work of this and the following week in case you forgot about them."Then Kendrick came."Oh...she's here."Silver left."Why am I here Kendrick?"He looked softer."I'm sorry."I sighed."I just wanted to know if you were alright or not."He placed his hand on my shoulder."Am I forgiven?"I shook my head."But I'm not mad anymore so that's a start."He chuckled."I will get what I can get."He got me under his arm."You better."He laughed and I laughed.We then walked around until dinner.

Then James came over in the middle of dinner and squeezed himself between me and Silver."I need help."I rolled my eyes."What is it this time?"He sighed."Birthday."I chuckled."This is a tough one.I haven't celebrated that thing for years.Ask Silver."They started talking and I just continued my dinner.It was after hours.So it's like midnight.But I couldn't sleep.I just keep staring outside that goddamned window like almost all the nights.It's really tiring.I keep playing with that ring around my finger like it's a stress toy.I can't take it anymore and I just got out to go sneak to the big tower.

When I was unfortunate to find Ralph and her girlfriend making out."I-I'm sorry.I'm just gonna...bye."I just jumped off the tower and turned into a owl.A pretty red one I think.I got on top of that tower and turned back to my human form and started looking around.Taking in the semi-cold air into my lungs.Feeling somehow more alive."This is good.This is very good."

She came in and it was all spoiled."I-I'm sorry.I'm just gonna...bye."Then she jumped down the tower and got up as a red owl.I sighed deeply in relief."How crazy is she?"I rolled my eyes realizing I'm not alone."I don't know.Fuck her though.Let's continue."I kept kissing her and she enjoyed every second of it.For the rest of the night...out of frustration and anger and many other...I did her hard.

Oh my fucking God!Ralph what are you?She's screaming her lungs out and it isn't helping me!I sent my flame down and talked."Keep it down you horny kids.People are sleeping.Plus some people are awake so they can't dismiss this as someone is having a nightmare.For fuck's sake Ralph."Then I called my flame back and then the screamings ended."Finally."I lied down on the tower's roof.I think I fell asleep after that.When I woke up it was almost noon.I could tell.I flew to my bedroom window hoping a girl is there.No one.So I flew to the common area's window and it was open.I flew in and tranformed into my human form.I subtly ran to my bedroom and changed.It was emotion control with Professor Dresden and I was late.So...late.

I sneaked towards my seat and after I sit he said my name without even turning around."What is your excuse for being late Ms.Monroe?"I sighed."I'm sorry Professor I overslept."He turned around."Overslept?This isn't the first class of the day Ms.Monroe.If you're going to lie then find a better one."I took a deep breath."I'm not lying.I really overslept.This is unfortunately the first class I am attending today."

"Very well then.The stage is yours.Come forward."I dropped my stuff and come forward."Now you're going to let me into one of your darkest memories.It's a hard one.Choosing a dark one if you have a lot like me."I sighed and whispered."I have plenty.""You better choose one then.I don't want to see a one you wouldn't want me to see."I was thinking of choosing when his thumbs touched my forehead.I gasped and then closed my eyes.My eyes were feeling weird.

I went to my seat and grabbed my stuff before I went to his office with Ralph.We arrived to his office and we both sat down.He was laid back.Relaxed.Something is different.This isn't Ralph.This is not the guy I spent the Christmas with.This is not the guy who sat down with me and opened our gifts.This is not the guy who tipped off the jury to stand by me.This isn't the guy I protected from his own father.This isn't the guy who yelled at his father that he doesn't want to kill me.This isn't the guy who danced with me when my dad came.This isn't the guy who saved me from immense blood lost which his father caused.This isn't the Ralph I know.

"You're different."He tilted his head up from his family ring."I wasn't listening."I sighed."You're different."He chuckled devilishly."Maybe I seem different to you because of last night.Fell asleep on the tower's roof?Classy move Monroe."I rolled my eyes."It's not that.It just doesn't feel as right as it felt before when I was around you.Itt just seems...incredibly wrong."

"Oh so you do have a crush on me."I sighed then took a deep breath."No.It feels wrong because before I didn't know this much.I didn't know that your father was a maniac.I wasn't scared of playing around with you.But now...I'm scared that you're going to get into trouble if I even get in your sight."I rolled my eyes."You think staying out of my sight will protect me?"He laughed."You being alive is enough to get me in trouble."Before he could say more Professor Dresden came in.
