Following day I wanted to leave again.He didn't let me.And days went by like this.I spent the week in Fern manor without his parents knowing I was there.He didn't even let me go back to my house to get clothes.He just lend me his.But tonight is the ball and seems like I'm invited."I need to go. I didn't even got a dress.I was going to when I went to the mundane realm.Ugh!It's all your fault!"Ralph rolled his eyes."You could've left.You didn't."I scoffed."I'm sorry?You we're the one who asked me to stay.""You could've said no.Besides I didn't ask you.I just said 'go tomorrow' and you didn't go against me.That's all on you."

I know it's pink and girly but I love it.I found a hairstyle already.I got everything figured out.

I am genuinely excited for this year.Anyways.I put the dress on and showed it to Alex."What do you think?""You look like cotton candy!"I rolled my eyes."I think I look nice."Then a letter came and I snatched it."It's from Dexter."I opened the letter and read it out loud for Alex to hear it."You didn't come.But I needed to ask you something.Burn the letter and come over.We need to talk ASAP.Tonight is the ball.We need to talk before you go there.Come over."I turned to Alex."I think I need to go."I changed and I burned the letter.I asked for a glass of water and mixed the burned ash powder with it and left.

"Don't even deny it.You ditched me to be with him this week didn't you?I mean I know you did because if you didn't Alex would write to me.If you were with Baron then Baron would've written me.But no one said a thing so...""I was."I threw myself on his bed."I was with him."He scoffed."So this ball...will he be your last dance?I know the rules."I sighed."I-I-I don't know.Ugh!Dex!Why would you stress me out like this right before the ball?Wait.The ball!"I checked my time."I need to go."He led me to his mother's study and she opened me a portal there.I landed in my room.I changed and I did my hair I wore my black heels underneath and for the first time I took off my family heirloom necklace.I wore another.

I was ready and I grabbed Alex with me into the carriage.I told him everything about our conversation with Dexter and where I was this past week."You're in love with Ralph?"I covered my face."I know.It's like I'm delusional.We were enemies just yesterday.When the hell did I fall for him?"He chuckled."I hated him at first I admit but he cares man.He cares a good deal.I heard about what happened when your father came.The second you left Ralph faught your dad."I took my hands off of my face."He did what?""It doesn't matter.You think he loves you?"I sighed."I don't know.I suck at this stuff.I can't tell if someone likes me until they tell me so I'm screwed with the guessing stuff."

"Well you better get good at that because we are almost there."I looked out the window."Not almost.We are here."I got off the carriage and I went inside.I didn't look for Ralph I just spent my time standing in a corner dancing with no one.Rejecting boys left and right.I'm not trying to flew here but I didn't want them.So I just avoided the whole dancing stuff.It was about to be the last dance and everyone was looking for a partner.That's when I started looking for Ralph and I found him.And fuck!I wish I didn't!I stared for way too long both Ralph and Marigold realized me.I turned around to walk away but Ralph yelled at me to stop.Then he caught up to me."Let go of my arm."He let my arm go and I wished he didn't.

"It's ok.I mean she loved you since the minute she laid eyes on you.I get it and it makes total sense.But uhm...congratulations."He laughed."I don't love her.I love you."Tears ran down."And I love you."Then we kissed for the very first time and I am telling you I felt like I was being reborn.I felt more powerful,happy and peaceful.I felt like I was complete and on fire.And long story short it felt amazing.It was out of this universe.
