Following morning I woke up with a nurse's soft voice."Honey it's medicine time."I chuckled."I'm sorry.I'm not the pateint.I'll be out of your way."She gave me a soft smile and woke Alex up."If you guys are taking care of my little brother this well I should go.I will leave you to your recovery and I will talk with your doctor outside alright?"He nodded and I left."So what's going to happen with everybody?"Doctor checked his chart."We will release Silver today after we check some vitals.We will release Alex once we are sure he is so little pain that he can attend classes.I don't know how Juniper is alive.He got some serious beating.But he'll be out in a week."I nodded."Thanks doc.Did Ralph ever came here tonight?"He shook his head."He was in this fight too."He sighed."I'll get someone to bring him here.Thanks Rose."I nodded."Off you go.Breakfast is being served."I took a deep breath."Thank you doc.Really."Then I went to the breakfast area.I sat next to James and the rest of the team members."How are you?""I'm fine.I was just with Alex and Silver's doctor.Silver will be released after some tests today.Alex might stay there for a few days.Not like a week but still.He is shocked that Juniper is still alive after that good of a beating."

"Ralph really lost it last night.I'm sorry on his behalf."I chuckled."He's not sorry he beat him.Don't apologized.I even thanked him for that.But he got it all wrong now he's furious."James and I had our breakfast and went to our own classes.A lunch Silver was back and the football team was like our guards for the whole day.Silver and I both.I went to see Alex after lunch.He was fine.I brought him muffins.I had an extra class to make up for the ones I lost while I skipped a whole day and almost a week.After that was over too I went to the bleachers to watch them practice but the whole teamed looked like they lost their spirits.Today it was Lionclutch against Eaglewan.I had Rolland and Cooper at one side and the other side is Dexter's club.It's really confusing.

At the end Lionclutch won.Tomorrow is a free day and then it'll be Dragondeth against Lionclutch.Hopefully until then everybody except Crooks is healed.After dinner I checked up on Alex."Hi.I snuck in some hot coco if you want."He took it and we sat there and drank some hot coco.Once he was done I left him to rest and got his mug with me and then snuck out.I went to the kitchen to leave the mugs."Hey chef!How's everything?""You wash those yourself young lady."I chuckled."Uh...sure."I washed the mugs and put them back in the cabinet after I dried them."I'm all done Chef.So...how's everything?"He smiled."Good.How are you?You seem...bad?I can't put my finger on it."Chef is always right.I don't know how he does this."I'm fine Chef.I am.Ale being in the hospital wing is a bummer but he's doing fine."He was going to place his hand on my shoulder but I backed away.I got scared."I'm sorry did I do something wrong kiddo?"I shook my head."No.Uhm...completely my fault.I'm sorry."Then I subtly ran away.

It was finally the finals between Lionclutch and Dragondeth.Alex was out of the hospital wing.Crooks still being in there was a relief.Dragondeth won and the whole team went partying.It was fun being there this time.I was there on my own.By myself.Not as a side piece for Crooks.I danced.I had fun.I enjoyed myself.It didn't seem like a torture anymore.I saw all of this the way Silver and James saw.Until Kendrick shut down the party."COME ON!TO THE DROMITORIES!UP TO YOUR CLUB TOWERS YOU CRZY KIDS!

Crazy kids?The oldest of us is only a year younger than him.Every one of us left.I took a shower and relaxed.A couple days later Crooks was allowed to go back and that scared.I constantly had someone with me.A guy preferably.No one from the people who knew what happened that night let him near me.No one.They said I should talk to the headmaster and got him expelled but if I do that then everything is ruined.So I took James with me and went to talk with Crooks after lunch."Can we talk?"He got up right that moment.Ralph took his time while he stood up."Sure."James and Ralph stood back and we walked a few steps away from them."What do you want to talk?"I sighed."I'm going to be honest with you Juniper Crooks.I am terrified of you right now.And...I don't want to be terrified of you.I don't want to have people around me so that night won't happen again.I don't want to be on the edge anymore.And for all of that you need to get back in line.I need to know you will get back in line Juniper if this is going to continue."He looked emberassed.

"I will."He nodded."I'm glad to hear that."He came close to kiss me but I stepped back."I-I-I'm not that ready yet.I'm sorry."He stepped backwards."Thank you Juniper.""Uh...yeah.Sure."I turned to James.I gave him a look and I left.Not long after Crooks caught up to me."Uhm...there is this dinner happening this weekend.The whole family is getting together and my father invited you."A nice family dinner?I know there is an actualy reason behind it so I'm not mad at my grandparents but still it's been a long time for me since I had those."I'd love that."He sighed in relief."Saturday 5pm.My family's carriage will be waiting for the both of us.Alright?"I nodded."Can you lean down a little?"He leaned down just enough for me to give him a kiss on the cheek."I gotta go.I'm going to change before dinner.""Sit next to me?"I sighed."I'll try."Then I left.I changed and I wanted to sit next to him because he really acted nicely towards me today but I couldn't do it.I sat with Peter and Alex instead.Which I know it made Crooks uncomfortable but this is the way I felt comfortable.So I just did what I had to.For myself.

Later in the common room I told Alex that I talked with Juniper.At first he was so mad.Like I have never seen him this mad kinda mad.Which scared me a little but then he settled down.This has to go on.I told him abou the dinner too.He said it'd be a very nice place to gether info.He is right.But the deal was me engaging with Crooks.Not being a secret spy.Grandpa doesn't want that.And I don't want to be involved that much.At least more than I am.
