Chapter 12

Sofia gets home and Abigail and her mom is sitting on the couch Watching TV. "You came home at the perfect time, dinner is almost ready"

"I'm not hungry, I already ate." She takes her coat off hanging it up. "Are you okay?" Abigail turns around to her. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because I know you and I know when something is off with you"

"I'm great, I'm gonna go to bed" She rushes upstairs into her room locking the door behind her. She gets undressed changing into comfortable clothes then lays down and begins watching TV. 5 minutes later Abigail begins knocking on her door "Sofia" She tries to open the door "Open the door"

Sofia ignores her "You're not sleep that fast, open the door!" She bangs on the door. "Leave me alone, I don't wanna talk"

"Can you please Just open the door?"

Sofia ignores her again "Well you're gonna have to speak to me soon so I'll be waiting" She hears Abigail walks off and she shuts the lights off then begins watching TV again.

The next morning she wakes up stretching then grabs her some clothes from her dresser and a towel. She walks to the bathroom removing her clothes and gets in the shower. Once she's done washing up she gets out and dries herself off then gets dressed. As soon as she opens the bathroom door Abigail is standing there.

"Get out of my way"

"No, I'm not going anywhere until you speak to me and tell me what's going on" She blocks off the doorway.

"Move!" She pushes Abigail out of her way knocking her onto the floor. "What is going on here?" Their mom rushes upstairs angrily.

"I don't know, she pushed me!" Abigail stands. "Why did you push your sister?"

"Nobody speak to me" She storms past them both running into her room closing and looking the door. "Sofia, open this door" her mom knocks on the door and Sofia ignores her. "Sofia I know you hear me, open this door now!"

Sofia stands and puts her socks and sneakers on and then her sweater zipping it up then opens the door "I'm going out"

"No you're not, you're not going anywhere until you tell me what's wrong with you" her mom grabs her arm. "Why don't you ask her?" Sofia looks over to Abigail then pulls her arm away and storms off. She rushes downstairs and out the front door and begins going for a walk. She decides to stop by Elijah's house knocking and He opens the door.

"hey, what are you doing here?"

"I got bored in the house and decided to come over" She walks inside. "oh um okay" he closes the door behind her and she turns to him and they just stand there staring at each other.

"Are you gonna say anything?" He asks.

"Are you?"

"Nope."

"Okay good." She walks over to the couch and sits down. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?"

"No thanks"

"Well what do you wanna do?" He walks over sitting down next to her. "I don't know"

"Okay" He stops for a few seconds "Well this isn't Awkward at all."

"You made it this way by being jealous for no reason"

"I do have a reason to be Jealous, You've actually kissed My brother"

"First of all I didn't kiss your brother, your brother kissed me and second of all you Kissed my sister"

"So we're both Even here" Sofia looks at him and scoffs "We're not even nothing, I never asked for the kiss"
