"You already have your first case, Detective."
I immediately wear my black coat and black hat and went to the crime scene.
"What happened?" I asked.
"We saw a dead body of a man in the vacant lot and in his case, we think it's a murder."
Tumango-tango ako at nilapitan ang biktima na nakaratay sa stretcher.
I checked his temperature.
"Minutes passed before he died based in his body temperature." lumayo ako "...where is the victim's phone?"
A one police man handed me an android phone.
"Here, Detective."
Sinuot ko muna ang black disposable gloves ko bago kinuha sa police ang cellphone ng biktima na nakasilid sa transparent ziplock na may bahid pa ng dugo.
Hmm, mukhang nagtiyaga pa ang biktima na kapain ang sariling cellphone para may tatawagan, and the blood in his phone is still fresh.
Nilingon ko siya sa stretcher bago ipasok sa ambulansya.
The blood stains in his white polo shirt is also fresh.
"Hand me his phone."
I opened Mr. Acosta's phone. No password and no fingerprint scanner. I clicked the icon "Contacts" and searched his wife's number and immediately call her.
"H-hello, h-honey?" kinakabahang saad niya sa kabilang silya.
Napangisi ako.
Tumikhim muna ako bago sumagot.
"Hello? Is this Mrs. Acosta?"
"Uh y-yes. Who is this?"
"This is Detective Shy and your husband, Mr. Acosta found dead—"
"Oh my god!" she exclaimed.
"I'm on my way there, Detective!"
At binaba na niya. Napangisi ako ulit.
Bumalik ako sa crime scene at lumapit sa mga pulis na kasamahan ko.
"The killer is on the way here."
After several minutes, Mrs. Acosta arrived.
Wala akong pinalampas kaya...
"Arrest her! She is the killer!"
"What? Do you have any proof?" mataray na saad nito.
"You didn't let me finish saying, Mrs. Acosta. Wala akong binaggit kung saang lugar natagpuang patay ang asawa mo."
Mrs. Acosta killed her husband on their way home from a birthday party of her sister. She stabbed him directly to his heart and disposed in the nearest vacant lot and after that she went home immediately.
