Day 9 (Jamilton)

Captain Crunch. He won't admit it, but yes that cereal is really good. He won't admit it, but dammit Alex had good cereal taste. The only thing about Alex and cereal that bothered John was how he ate it. In the morning, you could usually find Alex in front of his laptop writing. That meant his cereal was forgotten about until the last minute. And that meant, you guessed it, soggy cereal. As his roommate, that bothered him a lot.

That morning, John was eating Alex's cereal, and it was nice. The blinds were open allowing the warm, natural sunlight in. The weather was nice. Hopefully, he could drag Alex away from his laptop and they could go on a platonic picnic date.

"G'morning," a tired Alex yawned. He made some coffee and sipped the scalding liquid, not even batting an eye. "Hey, is that my cereal?"

John stopped the spoon that was halfway to his mouth and brought it back down into the bowl. "Yes...?"

"Are you sure you want to do that?" he playfully threatened.

"It's literally just cereal, Alex. I just grabbed the first one I saw. What are you gonna do? Kill me?" John stuck his tongue out.

Alex huffed. "Thomas!"

Wait, Thomas? he thought. I didn't know Thomas was here. Did he stay over last night?

"Thomas, John tried to kiss me!" Alex smirked at John.

I'm fucked.

Somehow, Thomas crashed through the wall with a sword and pointed the tip at John's throat. John gulped.

"Oh, you better start running if you want to see tomorrow," Thomas challenged.

"I won't, but he certainly will," Alex whispered.

"I'll give you a one minute head start." Thomas checked the watch on his wrist. "Starting...now."

John sprinted to get his keys and get out the door. He didn't care if he was still in his pajamas. One, his turtle onesie was beautiful. Two, what could you do when your best friend's boyfriend threatened you with a sword?!

Alex snorted. "That was hilarious, babe." He got up and pressed a kiss to Thomas' forehead before going back into his room.
