"So you were a witness?" Thomas asked Peggy. Thomas was assigned a case to Alexander Hamilton and was interviewing him and two other witnesses in a coffee shop. Eliza and Peggy Schuyler. He took out a pen and notebook. He was determined to fix this.
"Well, not exactly a witness, but I was-" Peggy was cut off by Alexander tugging on her shirt. "What?"
"Can we please leave?" Alexander asked shyly.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Eliza asked, rubbing her fingers across his knuckles in a soothing manner.
"I see Adams," he whispered.
Everyone mouthed an 'oh' and began packing up their stuff. Alexander clung to Eliza's side the entire time. It only made Thomas and Peggy wonder what really happened at the school.
