Alex pulled the emerald green shirt over his head. Today, he was meeting up with Thomas, Eliza, and Maria for a double lunch date.
He wore said shirt tucked into cuffed, ripped jeans. His hair was tied back into a ponytail with a silver ribbon and he had put a bit of eyeliner on his face.
Damn. He looked good.
Asshole💜: Where are you? We're already here
Alexander📚: Five minutes away <3
Asshole💜: You just left didn't you?
Alexander📚: Pfft- no
Alexander📚: I'm still home
Asshole💜: I swear Alexander-
Alexander📚: I'm leaving right now. Love you <3
Asshole💜: I love you too
Alex pocketed his phone and grabbed his wallet and keys. He walked to his car and drove to the diner. It was a small cafe diner they frequented. "Cottage core vibes," Maria would say.
He managed to get there in 15 minutes. Not too late...
"Alex! Finally," Eliza said, giving him a hug.
"Hey, Liz." Alex turned at sat next to Thomas at their table.
They ordered some food and started talking again.
"So, how's it going?" Thomas asked the girls.
They looked at each other. At the same time, they said, "I asked her to move in!" "She asked me to move in!"
Alex smiled at the couple. "Wow, that's amazing."
"I know, right?" Maria said. "How are you two doing?"
"We're doing great. Actually, we were going to go on a date later," Alex answered.
"Yeah." Thomas smiled up at him, making his heart warm. He swung his arm around Alex, pulling him closer. "Do y'all know how small Alex is? Personally, I find him adorable and very small, not to mention very easy to pick up!" Thomas laughed, pulling Alex onto his lap.
Alex started squirming around in Thomas' arms, making way too much of a scene. "Just because I'm shorter than you doesn't mean you can make fun of my height! I'm literally taller than Eliza!"
The other two giggled in amusement, watching the scene unfold.
Thomas squeezed Alex tighter. He started to sway him back and forth in his arms, trying to calm him. "Aw, aren't you just adorable!" He planted a small kiss on his forehead. Eventually, Alex just gave up.
