Lakeisha's POV

Finally I'm a graduate. No more assignments and dawn classes.  I'm very proud that I've pushed myself this far. My brother, Lucas has also graduated in Harvard this year but is planning on spending more years there to aquire his masters and also get a life there. I know that's just his excuse to get far away from everyone. Lucas doesn't like it when people hover and my family does that a lot. Mom is very sad that her baby boy isn't returning back home anytime soon. She thought once we are done with our first degrees, he would return back home. I was supposed to school at Harvard with my brother but I chose against it in order to be close to my love. After all, there are equally best universities here that measure up to the standard of Harvard University.
Right now, being both angry and sad is an understatement. First of all Jayden avoided me when we stormed on each other at the hall this morning. Which is very unusual of him. Secondly, he didn't show up at my graduation ceremony like the rest of the family as he promised mum. Third, he missed dinner. I feel he doesn't cherish this relationship as far as I'm concerned.
Dad gave me a magazine to go through so I'd select the choice of car I want. Tears keeps running down my cheeks as I flip through the magazine. I'm very hurt that he couldn't make time out of his busy schedule for me.
Beep!!! My phone vibrated. It's a text message. I picked my phone to check quickly, hoping it's from Jayden.

"Hey bitch. Let's go clubbing at nine."

I rolled my eyes at the text on my phone. It's a text from my best friend, Alethea. She's one hundred percent a party freak.

"I'm not in the mood baby girl, let's make it tomorrow ok? I replied her text."

Beep!!! I got a reply from her. She's a quick text back.
"Gross girl, who parties on a Sunday night?" I laughed at her text.
"Me!!!!!" I replied her and she sent me an annoyed emoji. Having had enough of her, I put my phone on my night stand and tucked myself in bed. I thought of possible places that Jayden might be right now. Why's he behaving like this towards me?
Beep!!! Another text came in again. Alethea is just a stubborn cat. I won't check the damn message, to the extent of replying her. I tossed to the side of my night stand and picked my phone when curiosity got the best of me.

"Your knight awaits you in his castle. Don't keep him waiting."

It was a text from my world, Jayden!
I read and reread the message again and again to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. Being convinced enough that it's indeed a text from Jayden, I got out of bed and took a quick shower. I walked to my walk in closet naked and wore a red laced pantie. I decided on a short kneaker and a tiny hoodie crop top without bra since I won't be staying out for a very long time. One thing Jayden does not know is the anger that boils in me for making me feel like the last person he thinks of on earth. I'm really going to teach him a lesson for making me feel worthless. All I've done is to love him and that is my crime. I ran downstairs not watching where I'm going, I just kept my eyes fixed on the stairs I'm descending.
"Hey, princess. Where are you heading to in so much haste?" I bumped into dad. Just a perfect timing to ruin my agenda 101.
"Papa dear" I kissed his cheeks. "I mistakenly threw my slippers at my backyard." I lied.
"Is that the reason why my sweet little girl is working herself up? You only had to call on one of the maids to help you bring it up. Joyce! Joyce!"  He called one of the maid. That's typically my father, he likes it when I do nothing.
"No Papa, it's alright. I can handle it. Besides, all the maids are stressed out already from this nights event." I wouldn't let him ruin all I've planned.
"Are you sure?" He asked searching my eyes. I blinked a lot of times so he'd miss what he's looking for. Dad can easily notice when I've been crying. This time around, I want to hide it because I don't know how his reactions may be if I tell him Jayden is the cause of my tears.
"Yes Papa, your wife is waiting for you" I winked at him.
"You little spoilt thing" he ran his hand in my hair, messing it. I've been told dad learnt that act from mum.
"Dad!" I whined and he stopped. "Goodnight Papa bear" I kissed his cheeks and ran past him.
"Goodnight my joy. Make sure you don't get bitten by an ant" he shouted after me. I ran out of the main door and ran down the hill to where Jayden has built his little castle. He has a room in the main house but he goes to his castle when he needs privacy.
The space I was approaching was filled with sweet aroma of steak. One of my favorites.
I ran my hand on my hair, making sure it looks presentable after dad messed it up before knocking Jayden's door. I heard advancing steps and my heart began beating faster.
"Hey!" He stood between the doorway after opening it.
WAP! I landed a hard slap on his cheek. My temper out weighed my self control. He yanked me into the room and locked it after me....
"What in fucks name did you slap me for, Keisha?" He said with restrained anger.
"I'll answer that question after you tell me what was so important that kept you from showing up at both my graduation ceremony and dinner." I folded my arms on my chest and gave him a fierce look.
"Really, Keisha? You slapped me because I wasn't able to show up?"
"Yes! And if you don't explain things to me right now, I'll do it again" He looked at me with clear anguish.
"I went out with Rachel, happy?" He said with total distaste.
"Hahahaa" I hid the pain that pinned my heart after he mentioned that girls name. "Tell me you're just kidding with me and I'll walk out of here like nothing happened." I raised my head to looked straight into his eyes.
He threaded few steps in front of me to seal the little gap between us. His eyes searched my eyes for something known to only him.
"I'm too serious to kid around Ms.Miltmore. You asked of where I was the whole day and I'm man enough to tell you." He said it with hatred. I stepped backwards and my back hit the door.
