Lakeisha POV

When I first heard the mind blowing cry of my baby, tears of joy ran down my cheeks. I wasn't happy that my baby was in pain. I was happy that I was able to push her out without any complications and she came out fine and healthy. I'm very grateful to God for seeing me through it all and gracing me with a beautiful baby girl and a loving husband like chris. I'll forever be grateful to him for his support and saving my family from the double shame that I nearly caused them.
"Give her to me dear. You need to rest" mum took Jamera from me. My family flew up here with aunt Abigail two days ago after I had my baby. Mum couldn't deprive her of the joy of being a grandma so she told her everything. She has promised to make my secret hers until I feel it's right to let her son know. My inner feelings wishes that he is here by my side. I hope I'll get over all that I feel for him, now that my baby has arrived. Jamera is dark skinned like her dad. She took my lips and dimples. In all, she's  a blend of both Jayden and I. The night of the day that I gave birth to her, I couldn't take a blink. I watched her sleep and wake up to  feed the whole night. She's just very beautiful and a fascinating sight to behold.
Aunt Abigail came with my parents without telling Jayden. Non of them wants to mention anything about him to me. She said Jayden was on tour when the emergency news came so she had to leave without telling him where she was going. Going on tour means he's happy wherever that he is and he of course won't be alone. That Rachel girl finally has gotten the meat she always wanted to chew. I'll get back at them one after the other.
"Princess you did a great job. She's so beautiful. Just like you" dad took Jamera from mum. These two can't get enough of their first grandchild.
"That's not how to hold a baby" mum scolded dad grumpily. She's not happy that her little doll has been taken away from her. I watched as mum taught dad how to hold Jamera.
"Food is ready!!" Aunt Abigail walked in with a big tray in hand and beaming with smiles.
"I thought you guys wanted me to sleep?" I asked her surprised. Just some few minutes back, aunt Abigail and mom were complaining on how I've not given myself the chance to rest. I'm finally feeling sleepy and she has come in with all this for just one person to eat.
"You can sleep once you're done eating dear. This is not just food, it contains vitamins that will enrich your breast milk." I rose my eyebrows surprised.
"Trust me dear, you'll have plenty of breast milk to breastfeed our angel after taking this." I eyed the bowl on the tray before picking it up to eat the tiger nut porridge.
"Is any left in the kitchen?" I asked her when I was a halfway through with the food.
"There's more there darling, you just have to snap your fingers and it will be in front of you." She replied with a smile. This porridge tastes really good. Aunt Abigail has been making me sumptuous meals since they got here. The only person missing now is my brother, Lucas. He's scared of facing dad. We both know that once the two of them meet face to face, there will be a long pep talk. Lucas is just not ready for that. I pray that when he makes up his mind to return home, he'll stay and take up his responsibility of managing the family's business after dad. Lucas told me of one of his business partners in real estate wanting to do business with my company. That is a great deal and goes with a huge some of money but I'm not ready to return to Ghana now. I first have to convince my husband and my baby is too young for me to be thinking about business. I have so much money that if I choose not to work for my entire life, I'll still have more. For the fact that I can't turn myself to a housewife, I've chosen to work. I'll still consider the offer when I'm ready. That's if they still want to do business with me.
"Thank you aunt Abigail. I'll continue with the rest when I wake up." I said yawning. Now I can feel the agent of sleep pulling my eyes. "The four of you shouldn't let her cry okay?" I told my aunt Abigail, my parents and my husband before closing my eyes for the most peaceful sleep ever.
