"What is your take on the white decoration?" Rita walked into my office that I left it's door opened so I can keep count of the number of gift boxes the hired servants for the day are sending to Jah's room. Though the party isn't due until evening time, some of the parents of her friends from school have already passed by to drop their gifts. Nobody is allowed to see the birthday girl until evening time. Her three Grand parents came for her yesterday. Aunt Abigail is trying to build that grandmother grand daughter relationship with Jamera. Everyone knows what's going on except Jayden who thinks that she's only doing that because Jah is her step grandchild. Jayden and I called the to wish our baby a happy birthday. That heiress was so happy.

"Girl, I asked a question" Rita snapped me back to reality.
"What did you say?" I scratched a brow. "Wait." I called on the servant that's passing with three boxes of gifts. He walked up to me immediately. The boxes are all smaller in size. Two of them is wrapped with different beautiful colours, but one. The last one is wrapped with a black wrapper.
"Do plain black gift wraps exists?" Rita asked.
"They do but are quite rare" I replied.
"Girl let's open the gifts" Rita stretched her hand for it.
"It's bad luck to open gifts meant for someone on their birthday when the person isn't around." Rita put her hand up in surrender as soon as I said that.

"Alright. Let's go back to work if we won't open any of the boxes. You're such a kill joy" she pouted.
"I can't believe you're dying over gifts that are meant for a three year old." I'm waiting for the day that she will cease to amaze me.
"I'm not dying as in dying, I'm only dying to see what's in the black box."
"There'll still be recorded deaths after you open the box" I teased her with her own words. "Kindly take them to her room" I ordered the guy carrying the boxes.

"Decorating this place with one color for a three year olds birthday sounds dull to me. Let's blend the colours."
"Anything you say ma'am"
"Make it three colours, white, pink and purple. Pink and purple are her favorite colours and the white would symbolize how far God has protected her"
"That's perfect. I'll need you downstairs when everything is set so you'd come and give your final touch ups"

"Sure" I said and she swayed out. Though it's going to be a birthday party that's meant for a three year old, the guests won't make it look like it. I have to make sure that everything is in order. Nights like this to businessmen are meant for business. Those who've been trying to track down Jayden to have a talk with him will see today to be an opportunity. With Dad and Lucas also being around, I won't be surprised if some people actually come along with a paperwork. I laughed thinking about all that.

"Sup busy bee?" Jayden walked in.
"Why are the presents so many?" He laughed.
"What do you expect? She's an heiress." He gave me a quick kiss on my lips.
"I didn't expect them to be this many. I'm sure her room is full almost full"
"There is plenty of rooms to accommodate her gifts don't worry" he said.
"I'm off with Lucas to LV office for the suits we ordered."
"Can't you have them drop it here? Your help is needed please"
"Okay tell me what I'm to do?" He asked.
"There's nothing now but I'll find something for you to do soon." He sighed when I said that.
"Just pile them up for me and I'll get them done as soon as we get back in an hour time. I love you" He said and walked out.
"I love you too" I shouted after him. I ticked on the pre-ordered stuffs that have been delivered so far. Remaining two, Jamera's glass shoe and Lucas's Rolex watch. I'm sure they will arrive in no time. I have to go to the lakeside and check if they've started what I asked them to do. Jayden and I, after the party will have a quiet time there.
"Hmm" I sighed. It's going to be tough tonight because I'm one hundred percent sure that he won't go easy on me after I tell him that Jamera is his daughter. Thinking about the scary possible things that he can do wants me want to back out.

Getting to the lakeside, I realized that those I assigned there are still in progress turning what I visioned into something meaningful.

"Good job" I said to the one in charge.
"I'm glad you like it madam" she said.
"Are you kidding me, I love it" I smiled.
"We'll on the lights at evening time and it will give the scene s bonus."
"Thank you so much" I said. She bowed her head in salute. Jayden is going to love it.  I left the lakeside to where we'll be having the main event.

"Gracious! I leave you all for two hours and this is what you came up with?"
"Did we over do the decorations or it below belt?" Rita asked with evident concern.
"Everything is perfect!" My eyes started getting teary.

"There she goes" Rita hugged me. "What's up with you and tears whenever you're happy?"
"I don't even know, maybe it's because I have a little of European genes in me." I eased my heart off my emotions.
"But seriously, I don't know what I would have done without your assistance. I'm so lucky to have you as my friend." I said.
"Finally we can both agree on something"
"You see why I reserve most of my compliments?" I asked her and she placed her index finger on her lips.

"Don't shush me" I smiled at her.

"Finally we can have some rest before evening time. Let's go to the guest room and have some rest." She pulled me along with her. I pray much that the sleep she's talking about won't be replaced with girl talk.....
