AUTHOR'S POV
-Past-
Mrs. Park, Jimin's grandmother, looked at the clock again for she don't know how many times, her wrinkled fingers impatiently tapping on the table with furrowed brows. On her other hand is her cane tapping on the floor ready to beat anyone who would dare to come close her.Why is that so?
It's because Jimin is not yet home and it's already past his curfew.
Jimin parent's died at an early age making his grandma stand as her parent instead. Despite growing up as a soft and kind hearted person, Jimin actually grew under a disciplinarian grandmother. She rarely smiles and talk strongly to anybody but Jimin loves her the most.
Jimin rarely breaks her rules and when he does her Mrs. Park easily felt agitated because it's either he had helped or been scammed.
Just the thought of Jimin being scammed again is enought to make her head ache.
Jimin's father, her only son died at an early age. But his genuine kindness was passed through him.
Ever since he was a kid, he always had a heart to help anyone or anything in need, he wouldn't hesitate a bit even it would sacrifice his own good.
But such kindness...
Is what worried her the most.
*Phone rings*
She hurriedly grabbed the phone seeing Jimin's name on the screen.
"Hello Halmeoni-"
"YA! DO YA KNOW WHAT TIME IS IT?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?" She whimpered in pain holding her back that ache when she suddenly stood up. Every sudden movements always hurt her
"I-I'm on my way home..." He stuttered making her feel a little guilty for yelling at him. He's always this obedient child that any parents could dream of while her grandmother is the always mad with knitted brows type of grandma.
"Haa~... Okay, just... Just go home already. "
"I-I'm sorry Halmeoni..." He whispered and cleared his throat.
She looked at her phone screen sensing something by the way he cleared his throat.
What could it be this time?
"Ha~" She sighed massaging her temples.
"Are you scammed again?" She asked trying to calm her nerves making Jimin flinch. "N-no!" His surprised tone can be clearly heard by the old woman.
Jimin cleared his throat again.
"Erm... Is it okay to bring a friend over?"
The old lady heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness, he was not scammed" She mumbled under her breath.
"A-are you saying something, halmeoni? I can't hear you clearly..." Jimin said over the phone trying to understand his grandmother.
"U-uh.. I-It's nothing... It's nothing." She said waving her hands. She walked towards the window in a slow pace with the support of her cane. "Alright, bring it home. Just hurry up and go home now. It's already late and the weather's freezing." The old lady finally ended the call as she watch the snowflakes slowly falling filling their backyard.
