10: Traces of the Past

JUNGKOOK POV
"Who is this guy?" I asked seeing a chinky eyed man widely smiling with Taehyung. Well... I'll just give it to hyung when he come back. I shrugged.  I'll keep the photo in my notebook for the meantime.

AUTHOR'S POV
Taehyung happily went out to surprise Jimin after school. He had been wanting to see his  friend as if his heart will explode out of excitement.

As soon as he arrived, he looked around hoping he would see Jimin soon. "Oh, maybe he's not out yet." He mumbled to himself. He was disappointed Jimin was not around.

Tucking his hands on his pocket, he lean on the gate's wall as he wait for Jimin.

He waited for more than 15 mins. The longest 15 minutes of his life. It felt like eternity. "Why isn't he coming out?" He muttered impatiently while looking at his watch.

He snuck his head inside the school. Some students were already going home. "Did he change schedule?", He thought. "Well, six months has been long time." He pouted for the thought that he may not see Jimin for the day.

Some girls couldn't take off their eyes off Taehyung but he could care less. He just wanted to see Jimin. He sighed while watching the fish in the pond outside the school. "Annyeong!" He waved to the fishes. "Oh~~ you're cute little fishes." He uttered like a child.

Jimin was busy putting the books he borrowed from the library to his bag when he suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Oh~~ you're cute little fishes."
"Cutie~ cutie~ annyeong! Waaah you're so cute" the owner of the voice said while squatting in the fish pond.

"...Pft-" Jimin held his laughter amused with Taehyung cuteness. He leaned on the gate and watched him. He's weirdly cute, he thought. He picked a small rock and threw it to Taehyung.

Before the innocent boy noticed, Jimin walked away pretending nothing happened.

Taehyung's eyes widened when he realized it was Jimin.

"Jimin-ah!! Jimin-ah!!" Taehyung almost trippef as he followed him.

"Yah, Jimin... are you seriously ignoring me?" Taehyung shouted.

"Yeah, why?" Jimin answered coldly.

"Woah, this guy really. ..that hurts!" He grabbed his chest as if he's been shot in his heart.

"We didn't see each other for six f****g months and that's your reaction? Yeah, why?" He added honestly hurt with the thought that Jimin didn't miss him.

"Ahahahahahah" Jimin suddenly laughed leaving Taehyung dumbfounded.

"Yah, hahahahha, ...you're really ...super cute." Jimin said while holding his stomach and almost kneeling in laughter.

"Hey, Jimin! you think it's funny?!" Taehyung walked towards the chinky eyed boy who's still laughing.

"You... I really missed you but then you ignore me like that?!" He added sullenly.

"Ok, okay I missed you too, alright, ahahaha" Jimin said loosing his eyes in laughter.

Taehyung just stared at him, he couldn't explain how much he missed to hear those laughter. He couldn't hear anything but Jimin's voice nor see anything but Jimin's smile. Suddenly, there's an urge inside him wanting to  be closer to Jimin, as close as possible.

As if his hands had a brain of it's  own when he suddenly hugged him.

"You're jerk. I really missed you." He said seriously. "I missed you so much." He said and tightened his embrace with little peck on his hair.
