"I'm taking back what is mine. Jimin ah." Taehyung said confidently and Jimin froze. Whatever he meant was conveyed clearly at the other.
Jimin cleared his throat and averted his gaze. Now, his heart fluttered for real. "W-what are you even saying." He mumbled incoherently.
Taehyung noticed how his cheeks flushed red. A smile pursed his lips, as expected, Jimin can't handle surprises. He knew he was taken aback with what he said.
"By the way, we have a family event tonight. I came here to invite you and grandma." Taehyung said as he handed an invitation to Jimin.
"What's the occasion?" Jimin asked as he accepted the blue envelope from Taehyung's hand. Taehyung smacked his lips before answering.
"It's Jungkook's birthday." He said and Jimin's eyes slowly widen. He had no idea about his ex's birthday.
"E-Eh?!" Taehyung almost laugh with his expression. His face spoke before he can utter a word.
"Are you telling me you don't know his birthday?"
"Eh? N-no... I-I didn't... I mean..."Taehyung looked at him as if he's judging his whole being for not even knowing Jungkook's birthday. "And you two seemed to spend a lot of time together?"
"H-hey... I didn't had chance to ask, okay!" Jimin defended himself but a sudden realization hit him. 'Knowing something about him won't change anything, will it?' He thought and slowly, his eyes turned cold. Even so, he found himself wanting to see him, give him a hug, a kiss maybe but none of those he could do.
A cold breeze swept their hair along with the wind before Jimin spoke, "How... How old is he?" He asked with a faint sadness on his eyes. His voice was soft and longing, even his best friend could tell.
"24." He answered.
Jimin chuckled tastelessly. All this time, he didn't know he was two years older than him. 'And yet he acted as my protector all those times.' He thought.
Jimin flinched when he felt Taehyung's cold hand on his shoulder. When he looked at him, he was smiling brightly. "Be my date tonight, Jimin ah." He uttered and Jimin looked at him wide-eyed.

It was past 7PM when someone knocked on Jungkook's door. "Honey, are you done?" Someone asked behind the closed door.
Jungkook sighed. His brows linked together as he was having a hard time on the neck tie his mother gifted him. It was the first time again that they'll celebrate his birthday together after almost 3 years. Her mother suggested a huge celebration as she wanted to make up for the time he had lost with Jungkook. "Not yet." He said as he tossed his already tired arms on his side.
"Jeez, I don't even know what's the purpose of this." He mumbled already irritated and confused why he can't tie the thing correctly.
"You need a hand?" The woman asked and Jungkook gladly open the door for her. "Mom~" Jungkook whined like a kid. "This thing isn't working, I'm doing it for almost 30 minutes." He said and his mother pinched his cheeks.
"Aigoo, you should've called me."
"Thought you were busy downstairs."
"Tsk. It's your day today. You had all the right to interrupt me."Jungkook smiled at her. "Thank you mom." He said and hugged the lady who still looked young at her age. His hug came tighter. There are things he wanted to tell his mom but he can't. Taehyung's condition that was still kept to anyone except Hyuna and him.
