Taehyung's Pov:
"I understand you want shared custody. I talked with Jimin, and he is okay with giving you shared custody. However, you are not allowed anywhere near him or my home without our permission. My legal team will be in touched with yours. Anything you want to say to Jimin, you can talk through them. If you or Hoseok share this with the public or dare cause any harm to Jimin, I will pull out all investments from your company. Do we have an understanding?"
There was a long pause on the other end of the line causing me to look at my phone to check if Yoongi had hung up, but he had not; he was still there, probably contemplating what I was saying. I wasn't for the bullshit; finally, things around me were going well. My family was happy, and everyone was doing well. I wanted to keep it that way. It's one of the main reasons why I left Seoul.
Yoongi lets out a chuckle pulling me back to the current situation, "you are always protecting him, I see. I didn't threaten or do anything to him. All I asked was to see my daughter. He moved across the world with my daughter, didn't allow me to see her after she was born, and is living life as though he is the only parent she has. I am her father. I am sure you would not like it if Jin did something like that to you."
"Jin wouldn't have a reason to run away with our child; he is my husband; he knows where he stands in my life. He does not have to compete for my attention or hide to see me or listen to me comfort him with lies so I can get the best of both worlds. Moreover, don't bring my husband into this!
Also, understand this, I am not about you losing rights to your child, and if your child is your focus, you will do what you need to do and adhere to the agreement my attorney will be sharing with yours that Jimin has approved. There does not need to be a relationship with you and Jimin for you to in your daughter's life." Jimin had requested my help with Yoongi, and though I did not want to get involved, I had to. Yoongi could be irrational and aggressive and easily bully Jimin into getting what he wants, which is having Jimin move back to Seoul. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too.
"So you are saying I can't come to visit my daughter, does that sound fair to you?"
"Don't twist my words. That's not what I am saying. What I am saying is, once you review the terms and conditions that are written by my attorney, which Jimin approved, you can get to see your daughter based on that agreement. Until then, you are not allowed anywhere near my home or around Jimin. You will stop calling and harassing him; Hoseok shouldn't be calling him either."
He sighed into the phone, "you know it's fucked up you knew about Jimin and me but hardly said anything, but now you are involved. That's fucking unfair!"
"It wasn't my business. I already gave you my warning years ago when you were getting married. I told you not to marry Hoseok if you were uncertain, but you did. Now you need to focus on your husband and your kids. Jimin wanted me involved now as things are getting out of hand, and I think you are beside yourself thinking you can demand he moves back, so what can he be at your beck and call to do whatever you want him to do? Don't be fucking ridiculous now; he is doing well here, finally getting his shit together, don't try and fuck it up. You can never give him what he wants, let him go, and just think of being a parent to Eun Mi, and be a good husband to Hoseok. He deserves better than what you are doing to him." I never understood why people cheated. First, I used to tell Jimin to stop his nonsense with Yoongi, but he never listened, and now things are getting out of hand; I had to step in him again and balance things out.
Hoseok was a nuisance to Jin, but overall he was a decent person; he would never cheat on Yoongi even if the opportunity presented itself, he loved Yoongi, and I knew that.
"I will wait for your attorney to reach out. Let Jimin know if I disagree with anything; I am kicking it back to him to change. I hope you don't allow this to come between our friendship; since you moved, you have been distance-"
I cut him off before he could continue, wanting to assure him that was not the case. "Sorry about that; it was never personal towards you. Jin was having a hard time, and I needed to be there for him. Things are a lot better now, so I will do better in keeping in contact. I will be in Seoul within the next two weeks, and we can get together for a drink then. I don't want our friendship to dwindle either. I care about you as I do, Jimin. I just need you to focus on the shit that matters and stop chasing after what you gave up years ago. Hoseok and your kids should be a priority, that's it."
"Good to know; let's meet up when you are in Seoul, and I will try and make things right here. Hoseok is pissed with me right now, but we will work it out; we always do. I love him; I really do. It's just Jimin; I felt like we have always been unfinished business, and he has a way of tugging at my heart." He explained, and I couldn't relate, but I get where he was going.
"I get it, but you are married, and if you love your husband the way you say you do, no one should be able to interfere with that love. Forget about Jimin and focus everything on Hoseok, I am sure he will appreciate it, and your marriage won't be a war zone. Him finding out you have a child with his best friend must be hard for him. He is the one who got the most hurt in all of this and Eun Mi. Not you, and not Jimin, you both were aware of the consequences when you started messing around."
Yoongi, after a while, finally acknowledged he agreed with what I was trying to tell him; he mentioned he would try and focus on his marriage and his kids. How true that was, I didn't know, but I would give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Did he agree?" Jin asked as I hung up the phone. He had been sitting next to me on the bed, anxious to know the outcome as he had been a bit troubled seeing Jimin cry.
I pulled him into my arms, hugging him tightly, "he is going to review the agreement once his lawyers get it. He seemed to agree with what I said, but we will see. Yoongi tends to be a man of his words, so not worried much."
He leaned his head on my shoulder, "would you really pull your investment from their company if he didn't agree?"
"No, I don't think I would. Honestly, I like Yoongi; he is cool, just out of his mind sometimes. I needed to say something, though, that would shake him up."
"Sometimes, I forget how scary you can be. Happy you were able to help Jimin, though, and I am sure he will sleep well tonight. Last night he didn't sleep."
I laughed at his comment and then kissed him, "I am not scary to you, am I?"
"No, not anymore; I think we are way past those times."
"I am happy and relieve we don't live like that anymore, see it's all the trust. When we trust each other, we can move in sync without problems." I lift his head to look at him. I wanted him to know I was happy with where we are now as a family.
He smiled at me, pressing his forehead to mine, "me too. I love the way we are now. By the way, I don't recall you mentioning your trip to Seoul; when did you plan this?"
I laughed out loud, "I was going to tell you; I found out today."
"Yet you told Yoongi first."
"I am sorry, I shouldn't have told him before I told you." I kissed him on his nose, and he smiled.
"You are forgiven." He says, returning my kiss.
