You Need Saving, Too

Chapter Seventeen

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Timeskip

Somewhere out there... three individuals ( heroes? ) ( villains? ) were grouped together for one simple mission.

"Since they are not moving, then it's our chance."

"Do you think we should be messing with them? What if they found us out?"

"It will be fine."

"It's been two months... this time, we'll make it."

They all look at each other, their eyes mirror one thing.

"Everybody in?"

"Yes."

"Let's go."

It's not an imagination, Shouto had thought as he watched Midoriya shyly enter his room. The omega glanced once more to Shouto before finally closing his door.

Shouto blinked, rummaging through his mind what had been happening for almost two weeks now and when and how it all started.

It's been two months since Kouri had his first heat. The whole week of his heat, Midoriya was there to guide him and help him. Shouto cannot thank the older omega enough. If it was just him, he wouldn't know what he should do- how could he help his son- he'll probably panic.

Midoriya made everything so easy- the omega made Shouto help, too. From helping with Kouri's nesting stuff and food. It was a little gesture but it made so much impact for Shouto. He was there for Kouri - he helped his son, and that's the important thing of it all.

Shouto had started learning how to help omegas in heat too, without their heat affecting his apha. It was slow progress but it's still progress. His mentors from Heat Centers were friendly enough to accommodate him. Midoriya makes sure to help him at home when training, too.

Shouto had started teaching Katsu everything as well. And not just the stuff about omegas in heat, but the stuff about his quirk, too. It was a bit of work. Since, if Shouto would be honest, his fire isn't that great, too. But, they are both doing their best. But, it didn't help that Shouto doesn't want Katsu to train too much - well, that's just Shouto, since Katsu always says, he still can keep going- Shouto's afraid he'll push Katsu just as how Endeavor pushed him.

It became an issue and Katsu wasn't generous enough to tell Shouto and instead, went to Midoriya. The embarrassment and stress Shouto had felt when Midoriya talked to him about it. When he asked Katsu why he did that, all the little shit said was, "Well, Dad, you're not listening to me. I figured you'll listen to Mom once he talks to you, right?"

And it wasn't just Katsu. After Kouri went through his heat, his closeness to Midoriya went tenfold. Kouri trains with Shouto as well, using his ice. But most of the time they are not training and not in school, they'll all be locked up in the engineering room, messing with Midoriya. One time, Shouto is sure Kouri had given him the same smirk Katsu always gives him when teasing him.

I mean, his sons didn't know about his little crush on Midoriya, right ?

Back to the topic at hand, unusual things kept happening around him and Midoriya as of late. Almost ten days ago, when Shouto was on the veranda, again, watching the night, waiting for Midoriya with their tea.

The omega entered the veranda with an alpha scent. Shouto had picked it up at once, snarling at the omega when he put the cups down. He didn't bother trying to recognise the scent, Shouto's alpha moved first, growling.
