You Need Saving, Too

Chapter Four

CHAPTER FOUR
Ice Burn

Izuku collapsed on the bed- on his new bed. The digital clock on his bedside table says it's five PM. Eri-chan's been napping for two hours now, if he wants Eri-chan to sleep later, he better wake her up now.

He sighed and sat up, his eyes scanning his new room. Most of his favorite posters, All Might's especially, were on the wall. He's got two shelves set-up, one for his books and notebooks and the other for his hero merchandise collection. On his table was his laptop, beside it is a big storage where there are some devices he uses for developing support items. His walk-in closet is all set up too.

His eyes settled on a hero Shoto collectible. He knew it best, that if ever Todoroki-kun sees it, he'll be red with embarrassment. But, it's one of his favorite hero Shoto merchandise, so he can't really leave it behind. It's a figurine- a toy collectible. It's hero Shoto's debut design. His uniform is a simple blue tracksuit, with white boots. The design was as if hero Shoto is attacking, ice sprouting from his right hands.

Izuku collected the toy, examining it.

He's read about it- everyone knows that the alpha is a dual wielder. Hero Shoto is refusing to use his left side- his fire side. No one knows the ability of his left, no one ever saw hero Shoto used it. The alpha has been asked about it many times during interviews but he never commented, saying he's most comfortable using his ice.

Izuku frowned before sighing, there's no use worrying now cause Izuku is a hundred percent sure, he'll never have the courage to ask Todoroki-kun about it. He put the toy back on his shelf.

His mind then wandered back to the twins. Izuku has many curiosity about the Todorokis. Well, today is only his first day, he has time to get to know everyone.

He went out of his room and went directly to Eri-chan's.

But when he opened the door and entered Eri-chan's bedroom, he found Todoroki-kun kneeling beside a sleeping Eri-chan. The alpha is on his hero uniform, scenting his daughter. Izuku gasps a little, thinking he's walked into something personal. Todoroki-kun growled lightly, protective pheromones oozing from him, turning to the door- to Izuku. The alpha calmed down a little upon recognising him.

"I'm sorry." Izuku immediately said, bowing. "I thought I'll wake up Eri-chan so she'll have no trouble sleeping later." he bowed his head more, feeling the tingling sensation of the protective pheromones the alpha released a minute ago.

Todoroki-kun stood up, studying Izuku. Upon realising why the omega is refusing to look up, the alpha took a deep breath, his calming pheromones overpowering his protective ones. Izuku's omega purred happily, knowing full well that the calming pheromones were directed at him.

"I- we have rescue missions." Todoroki-kun started. "So..."

Izuku nodded in understanding. The alpha stood up, meeting Izuku at the door. Izuku went in, while Todoroki-kun went out of the room. Their eyes met for a moment, "Take care, Todoroki-kun." Izuku decided to say, his eyes finally leaving the bicolored eyes of the alpha.

"Thanks." was all Todoroki-kun said, turning around, finally leaving.

Izuku turned, closing the door. He remained looking at Eri-chan for a moment, savoring the alpha's scent in the room. When he heard the gate shut, he breathed out and closed his eyes. "Please be safe." he prayed.

"Izu-kun, where's daddy?" Eri-chan questioned as they went down the stairs- Izuku carrying her, her hands to her eyes, rubbing it gently.
