You Need Saving, Too

Chapter Six

CHAPTER SIX
Cherry Blossoms

Everyone's favorite season is spring, since it's not too hot, not too cold and there are colorful flowers everywhere.

And, that includes Eri-chan.

Three days into living with the Todorokis, while Izuku is busy with work, and Eri-chan is on her little station- courtesy of Mei- Eri-chan asked Izuku. "Hey, Izu-kun..." she softly started, there's a hint of red in her face. Embarrassment laced her pheromones.

Izuku immediately dropped his tools, looking up- down, rather- at Eri-chan. "Yes, honey?" he asked, reaching his hands to her, scenting her hair.

Izuku notices that whoever is with Eri-chan, even Todoroki-kun, couldn't help but scent her. Izuku cannot blame anyone though, whenever Eri-chan looks at him, eyes expectant, he cannot help but scent the little girl. And Eri-chan would always purr happily whenever you scent her. Just like right now.

"Eri-chan's classmate..." she started, her hands at her back as she rocks on her place. "Hina-chan went to the park." she said, peeking at Izuku.

Izuku chuckled, understanding the little kid. "Do you want us to go to the park?"

Eri-chan looked up to him immediately, nodding her head animatedly. "With Daddy, and Burn-niichan and Ice-niichan!" she added eagerly.

And, that's why they are here.

Inside the subdivision where the Todorokis live, there's a wide open park. There are sakura trees everywhere, blooming with cherry blossoms.

Izuku's eyes travelled to the vast space, where Eri-chan and Kouri are trying to drag Katsu into their tag game. The latter is smiling, Izuku thinks that Katsu is just probably trying to mess with his siblings. Because after a minute, all three of them are running around, Katsu finally giving up, playing with Eri-chan and Kouri.

Their laughter sounds like music to Izuku's ears. He purred happily, still watching the three.

"I'm trying to see if it's you I'm smelling or the cinnamon buns." Todoroki-kun said. The alpha sat beside Izuku, his eyes on his children, too. There's light in his eyes as he watches the three.

Of course, just like how Eri-chan requested, Todoroki-kun is with them, clearing his schedule for today, just for his family. A family day, Izuku thought. His omega cheering in delight- he's part of that family .

But, upon realising the alpha's comment, Izuku turned red. These past three days, ever since the first night, Izuku notices how much Todoroki-kun is teasing him. And he's doing that nonchalantly, as if he wasn't aware that he's teasing Izuku.

"You know what my scent is?" he asked the alpha, flabbergasted. His omega purring happily.

Todoroki-kun nodded, "I can always smell you from Eri." Izuku blinked. "There's that apple cinnamon scent mixed in with happy pheromones everytime I see her." their eyes travelled back to the kids. "Even Katsu and Kouri have your scent, too."

Then, Izuku saw the difference.

Izuku thought he's imagining it at first, but upon studying Todoroki-kun, even from the sidelines, he saw it. The hint of smile- of happiness from his eyes.

"So, obviously, I know your scent, too." The alpha- Todoroki-kun, purred lightly.

He just purred, talking about Izuku. Izuku can't help but just blushed to himself, bending in half, trying to hide his face from the alpha, shielding himself using his arms, again.
