CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

["No statement has been issued yet by Midoriya Izuku-san regarding his kidnapping last night."

"And according to the reports, they're speculating revenge as to why Midoriya-san was captured by Igneous."

"Isn't Igneous..."

"That's right, partner. Igneous is the villain hero Shoto captured on his early days."

"Rumour has it that Midoriya-san is..."]

["...pros said that Midoriya-san wanted to have a few days of rest before giving his statement. "

"That means, we are also yet to confirm whether his kidnapping really happened because of hero..."]

["...it was news to everyone to know that hero Shoto has an omega. As we all know, it's been eight years since his wife passed away from sickness."

"I believe the pro is a single father of three? How did Midoriya-san's omegan family accepted this?"]

Bakugou Katsuki- Pro-Hero Ground Zero- clicked his tongue as he turned off the television and threw the remote on the couch. Deku's kidnapping that happened last night was all over the news. It's one thing to report about the kidnapping, but to keep their mouth running- and they kept mentioning Deku's name! -, saying whatever they want was another thing.

Katsuki is getting pissed.

Why do these people always want to know what happens in heroes' lives? They are not celebrities. Why do they keep on butting their noses to their business? Can't they just say that Deku was kidnapped last night but he is okay, and that's it? Was it really necessary to say that it happened because of them being a hero? Was it really necessary to say that hero Shoto, a single father of three, found an omega? And how did they even find out that Deku is an omega? That's classified information! Heck, Deku is just being dragged into all of this blown-out proportion news just because he is hero Shoto's omega.

Bullshit, Deku is more than someone's omega.

And another heck, he's not pissed because he's friends with Deku or the half-and-half bastard. As a fellow pro-hero, he just really doesn't like all these people butting in their private lives.

"Katsuki." Katsuki closed his eyes on instinct. He took a deep breath upon hearing Eijirou's voice, his whole system calming down. He turned to the door, his smile present that soon vanished when he saw the person behind his partner. "Inko-san was looking for you."

Of course, the police would call for the immediate family in Deku's emergency contact. Of course, Inko-san, Deku's mother, would find out he's one of Deku's rescuers. And another fucking of course, Inko-san would be here to add to his frustrations regarding this whole situation.

Katsuki wanted to talk to Deku and the half-and-half bastard first before dealing with Deku's old folks. He knew he had to deal with them, he didn't expect it to be this early.

Eijirou winced and threw Katsuki an 'I'm sorry' face. Katsuki is sure, Eijirou saw the stress that painted his face when he saw the woman behind him. He mouthed Katsuki a simple sorry- that Katsuki only answered with an understanding look- before bowing and leaving them to the office.

"Inko-san, please sit down." Katsuki tried to say gently, gesturing to the chair in front of his table.

But the woman was quick on her feet. In less than a second, she's in front of Katsuki, holding the pro's hands, her eyes watering as she looks hopefully to the man. "I've heard that you're with Izuku." she said immediately. "How is he? Is he injured? Is he scared? What happened?"
