CHAPTER THREE
The Todorokis"Izu-kun, when would you go home?" Izuku looked down and smiled fondly at Eri-chan, scenting her hair. "Won't you come home with us today?"
"Midoriya still has some things to do, Eri." Todoroki-kun interjected. "He'll be home sooner than you expected." he added, a fond smile on his lips.
Izuku sighed to himself. His omega is tugging at him. He honestly wants to ask Todoroki-kun, why does he keep smiling when his eyes are so sad? Why does Izuku feel like there is more heartache to come? What's more there is to these Todorokis? Izuku thought to himself, does he really know what he's getting himself into? Would he be fine? Is this his omegan instincts taking charge, or is it his curiosity? Or is Izuku just as meddlesome as this?
"Let's do this like this, Eri-chan." Izuku started, crouching in front of Eri-chan. "Later, before you sleep, you can call me."
Eri-chan's eyes widen in delight, her lips breaking into a huge grin. "Really? Eri-chan can call Izu-kun later?"
"Of course!" He answered the kid enthusiastically. He brought his hands to her ears, tucking her hair behind. Eri-chan leaned into his touch, sniffling his scent gland. "You can do that until I'm home, yeah?"
Izuku feels like he's digging his own grave. How can he call an alpha's home, his home? Is he out of his mind? Was his omega this happy when Todoroki-kun called it home referring to him earlier? Is this how he dies, digging his own feet into the ground by living with an alpha?
"Okay!" Eri-chan answered, squeezing his hand.
He let her go and turned to Todoroki-kun. The latter was watching them from his table, files on his left hand and a pen on his right.
After they talked, around an hour ago, Todoroki-kun started making their contract. He also asked Izuku about the contract their company is offering and studied it. Half an hour later, Todoroki-kun signed Hatsume's Support C. contract while Izuku was reviewing the clauses of their own. Izuku hasn't signed theirs yet, since he still needs to talk to his mom. Well, Izuku has been thinking that he's not letting his mom go until she approves.
"I'll be going now, Eri-chan." He said, crouching once more. Eri-chan hugged him the moment he's within her reach.
"Take care, Izu-kun." he waved one last time, his eyes travelling to Todoroki-kun for a second, before finally closing the door.
Once he's out, he sighed to himself, smiling. The receptionist was on his side in an instant, walking him to the lobby. When they saw Mei, the receptionist bid her thanks and goodbye.
"So? How was it?" Mei asked eagerly. Izuku silently, but smiling, handed her the folded. Mei squealed when he saw Todoroki-kun's signature at the bottom part. She hugged Izuku tightly. "I knew you could do it!"
Izuku winced, as Mei let him go. "We need to talk." he told her seriously.
Mei frowned at him, sensing the urgency on his voice. "Let's talk at the office."
When they reached the office, Mei didn't give him any chance and made him go straight to the point. Izuku then told her everything that happened the first time he met Eri-chan until everything that happened today.
"You did what?!" Izuku whimpered, hearing Mei used her omega to him. Now he knows what Mei felt when he was reprimanding her.
"I can't say no the kid." He said, pouting. "The omega in me rejoiced to know that he is needed."
Mei pulled her own hair when she heard him. "It's not a matter of doing something very different from your major, Izuku. It's a matter of living there, with an alpha!" she told him frustratingly. "And you, an unmated omega! Do you know how much trouble that setting is?"
