Harry spent a couple of weeks in Nashville with Taylor but when the british boy had to return to LA for some final meetings about tour arrangements she agreed to go with him. She isn't the biggest fan of LA but life is so much easier for them when they're together so if she can be with him then that's where she'll be.
"You'll be back on time, right?" Taylor hums as she leans against the headboard, watching as Harry gets ready to leave for a meeting, "I wouldn't miss it, babe, I promise." Taylor is into her third trimester and the impending birth of their child is sitting at the forefront of her anxieties so she booked a private birthing class for this afternoon. She would love to be able to go to a normal class with other expectant parents but she already knows that it would turn into a circus if they did. "I will be back in plenty of time and with lunch in tow and then we will learn how to have a baby," she laughs as he leans over, bringing her into a kiss as he smirks.
Harry pulls away from Taylor and moves to kiss her bump, "you be good, daddy doesn't need a grumpy mummy when he gets home." Taylor frowns as she pushes his shoulder and Harry laughs, "if daddy isn't careful then he's the one that's going to make mummy grumpy." He kisses her bump one last time and then gets back up and sits on the edge of the bed to tie his laces.
"Are you going to be okay alone for a few hours?" Harry doesn't like leaving her when he's the reason she's here but he can't help the meetings and she knows that. "We'll be fine, H, Karlie's in the city for a few days so we're finally going to have that catch up we've been talking about," Harry shakes his head as he laughs, "well, you two have fun and I'll check in on you in a few hours."
The blonde nods and pulls him into one last kiss, "you should go before you're late, we've gotta stay in the good books," she lets him go with a sigh, they're trying not to piss off his management any more than they already have to this point. "Be careful and phone me if you need anything," he pauses at the door and Taylor salutes with a laugh, "minimal effort at all times, I promise." She's been warned about pushing herself too much, especially being in her third trimester, so she's been taking it easy and doing everything her doctor recommends - no matter how difficult.
She listens for the door closing downstairs and then sighs, "what are the chances of your daddy being on time to the class, little one?" She runs a hand over her stomach and laughs as she gets a hard kick in response, "you're right, he's gonna be late again, huh?" She knows its not Harry's fault, he just does as his team tells him and they both know he isn't allowed to say no, but she lets it slide because she needs him there the day this little one arrives and that trumps every other day before.

"Oh my gosh, this is so sweet!" Taylor is tearing up as she opens the gift that Karlie brought for their little one - a little lion robe, a sweatshirt that says 'I will change the world', and a few little feminist baby books. "I couldn't remember if you said what you were having so I kept it pretty neutral, I hope that's okay," the model was nervous to make a good impression and she couldn't come empty handed, "we don't know what we're having so this is perfect, thank you so much!"
The blonde pulls the brunette into a hug and Karlie laughs, "I'm so glad you like it, and I owe the new Mama a drink once your little one is born, their daddy can watch them for a few hours." Taylor smiles as she agrees, "it's a deal."
She leads the way to the kitchen with a soft smile, she appreciates the company these days - since her tour was cancelled she spends a lot of time with her mom or alone so a new face is always appreciated.
"Where's your other half today?" Karlie sits on a bar stool as Taylor offers her coffee and the blonde sighs, "he's at a meeting, they're finalising tour details before rehearsals start soon." Taylor smiles but anyone could see that it's bothering her more than she's letting on, "I'm sure it can't be easy with how busy your lives are," Taylor nods as she hands Karlie a cup of coffee, "we make it work but it's not the perfect situation to introduce a little one into. I don't even know why I'm so adamant for him to be at the birthing classes, unless this baby pops out two weeks overdue then he probably won't even be there for the birth." They've been kidding themselves for months but Harry and Taylor both know there will be repercussions if he leaves in the middle of the tour, they just have to make do with what they get.
